Description
(1)チェックバルブ44,46の穴58にグロメット48の頭部52を挿通させる作業と、グロメット48の頭部52をポンプボディ16の穴50に挿通させる作業とが必要になるため、チェックバルブ44,46のポンプボディ16への取付け作業に工数がかかってしまう。
(2)グロメット48はゴム製のため、燃料に触れて劣化が進む。
(3)円板形状のチェックバルブ44,46の中心位置をゴム製のグロメット48でポンプボディ16固定しておくためには、グロメット48の頚部52の内径をある程度大きくしなければならない。それに伴って、円板形状のチェックバルブ44,46の外径が大きくならざるを得ず、その結果としてポンプ自体が大型になってしまう。
(4)吸入連絡通路40や吐出連絡通路42を通る燃料吸入量や燃料吐出量は、吸入連絡通路40や吐出連絡通路42の通路径とエンジンで発生してパルス室28に導入されるパルス圧とで決まる。しかし、チェックバルブ44,46をグロメット48でポンプボディ16に固定する構成では、パルス圧が大きいと、チェックバルブ44,46が吸入連絡通路40や吐出連絡通路42から大きく開いてめくれ上がり(図5の一点鎖線)、チェックバルブ44,46のバルブリフト量が制限できなくなってしまう。
前述の(1)から(4)により、図4に示す従来のダイヤフラム式ポンプにおいては、ポンプ自体の小型化が困難であり、期待する性能を得ることができないという不具合があった。

Claims (1)
- ボディに形成した通路を可撓性の素材から成るバルブで開閉するバルブ装置において、相対的に外径の大きいフランジ部とそれと一体に形成される相対的に外径の小さい突出部とから成るバルブ開き量規制部材を前記バルブと共に固定手段で前記ボディに取付けるものであり、前記ボディと前記バルブ開き量規制部材の前記突出部側とで前記バルブを挟持し、前記通路の開放時に前記バルブ開き量規制部材の前記フランジ部の縁に前記バルブの一部を当接させることで前記バルブの開き量を規制するものであって、前記ボディの素材を合成樹脂とし、前記ボディに柱部を形成し、前記バルブに前記柱部に挿通するための穴を形成し、前記バルブ開き量規制部材に前記柱部に挿通するための穴を形成し、前記柱部に前記バルブの穴と前記バルブ開き量規制部材の前記穴とを挿入し、前記固定手段を前記柱部の先端部を熱によって潰す熱カシメとすることで前記バルブと前記バルブ開き量規制部材とを前記ボディに取付けることを特徴とするバルブ装置。
