図1は、本発明の具体的な実施の形態に係るボンド磁石の構成を示している。ボンド磁石10には、例示であるが、Nd−Fe−B系の異方性希土類ボンド磁石を用いた。ボンド磁石10は軸11を中心として周辺に外周肉厚部12を有した中空円筒形状をしている。図1は軸11に垂直な横断面図である。

Claims (2)
- 異方性希土類磁性体粉末を樹脂で成形した中空円筒形状のモータ用異方性ボンド磁石の配向処理方法において、
前記異方性ボンド磁石の軸に垂直な断面において、磁極周期の主たる区間である主磁極区間においては、前記異方性ボンド磁石を配向させるための磁束の主部を、前記中空円筒形状の円筒側面の法線方向に誘導して磁場を印加し、隣接する主磁極区間の間の遷移区間においては、前記中空円筒形状の円筒側面に接触する磁性体から成る円筒状部材により、前記磁束の一部を前記中空円筒形状の円筒側面の周回方向に誘導して磁場を印加することにより、
前記異方性ボンド磁石の軸に垂直な断面における前記異方性希土類磁性体粉末の配向分布を、前記主磁極区間においては、前記中空円筒形状の円筒側面の法線方向とし、前記遷移区間においては、磁極の中立点に近づくに連れて徐々に前記円筒側面の周回接線方向を向き、前記中立点においては前記円筒側面の周回接線方向となり、前記中立点から遠ざかるに連れて徐々に前記円筒側面の法線方向を向く分布としたことを特徴とする異方性希土類ボンド磁石の配向処理方法。 - 前記配向処理は、異方性希土類磁石粉末と樹脂を金型のキャビティに供給し、金型による加熱圧縮成形時に、前記磁場を印加して行うことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の配向処理方法。
