Description
図1の構成の溶着装置を用いて通気部材付支持体を作製した。この装置において、固定台101の凹部底面は、直径が12mmの円形であり、前記凹部の深さは8mmであり、その底面にゴム硬さ50°、直径12mm、厚さ2mmの円形シリコーンゴム板109を設置した。溶着ホーン104の先端部は、外径11.9mmの面形状であるが、その中心から直径9mmの凹部を形成することにより、外周に環状凸部(幅1.45mm)を形成した。支持体102としては、ガラス繊維入りのポリブチレンテレフタレート製の支持体を用い、その外径は11.9mmである。前記支持体102の開口部の外径は11.4mmであり、内径は8.5mmであり、溶着幅を1.45mmとした。通気部材103としては、ポリテトラフルオロエチレン(PTFE)多孔質膜とポリエステル不織布(融点260℃)の円形複合体(直径12.4mm)を用いた。この複合体を作製する際の溶着温度は270℃、溶着時間は5秒、溶着時の荷重は9.807Nとした。
図2の製造装置を用いて通気部材付支持体を作製した。この装置において、溶着ホーン先端部のテーパ面の傾斜角度は、77度であり、その他は、実施例1と同じである。そして、この装置を用い、実施例1と同様にして支持体の開口部に通気部材を溶着した。
精電舎電子工業株式会社製超音波溶着機ΣGT−600/ΣP−30を用いて、通気部材支持体を作製した。この装置において、図5に示すように固定台501の凹部底面は、直径が15.0mmの円形であり、前記凹部の深さは8.0mmであり、その底面にゴム硬さ50°、直径15.0mm、厚さ2mmの円形のシリコーンゴム板509を設置した。また、溶着ホーン504の先端部は、外径12.4mm、中心から9.0mmの凹部を形成し、先端部のテーパ面の傾斜角度は、77度とした。支持体502としては、ガラス繊維入りのポリブチレンテレフタレート製の支持体を用い、その外径は14.9mmである。前記支持体502の開口部の外径は11.4mmであり、内径は8.5mmとした。
前記支持体には、幅0.9mm、深さ1.4mmの凹部を形成した。通気部材503としては、PTFE多孔質膜とポリエステル不織布の円形複合体(直径13.0mm)を用いた。この複合体を作製する際の溶着時の荷重は0.4MPa、溶着沈み込み量は0.06mm、超音波の周波数は20kHz、冷却時間は0.3秒とした。
シリコーンゴム板を使用せずに、実施例1と同様にして、支持体の開口部に通気部材を溶着した。

Claims (11)
- 開口部を有する支持体の前記開口部の上に通気部材を載せ、前記通気部材の縁部と前記支持体の開口部周縁とを溶着することにより、前記開口部に前記通気部材を取り付ける溶着装置であって、固定台、熱発生手段、および溶着ホーンを有し、前記固定台には、前記支持体を嵌め込んで固定するための凹部が形成され、前記溶着ホーンは、その先端に前記支持体の開口部周縁と通気部材の縁部とを溶着させるための溶着面を有し、前記熱発生手段は、前記溶着ホーンの溶着面下の温度を上昇させるものであり、前記溶着装置は、さらに弾性体を有し、この弾性体が、前記固定台の凹部の底面に配置されており、前記溶着ホーンの先端部において環状の凸部が形成されており、この凸部が前記溶着ホーン先端部の径方向に傾斜しているテーパ面を有し、このテーパ面が前記溶着面であり、これによって、前記溶着ホーンによる前記通気部材縁部と前記支持体の開口部周縁との溶着において、開口部側と反対側の溶着が、開口部側の溶着より強くなるように実施され、前記支持体の、前記溶着ホーンの先端部と通気部材が接触する部分の下に位置する部分に、凹部が設けられており、前記凹部は、溶着ホーンのテーパ面を有する部分の高さSと凹部の深さTの関係がT>Sであり、溶着ホーンの幅Xと、凹部の内縁部間の幅Yの関係がX>Yであり、かつ凹部の内縁側の角部が溶着ホーンのテーパ面に接触するように設けられていることを特徴とする溶着装置。
- 開口部を有する支持体の前記開口部の上に通気部材を載せ、前記通気部材の縁部と前記支持体の開口部周縁とを熱溶着することにより、前記開口部に前記通気部材を取り付ける熱溶着装置であって、固定台、ヒータおよび溶着ホーンを有し、前記固定台には、前記支持体を嵌め込んで固定するための凹部が形成され、前記ヒータは、前記溶着ホーンを加熱し、前記溶着ホーンは、その先端に前記支持体の開口部周縁と通気部材の縁部とを熱溶着させるための溶着面を有し、前記溶着装置は、さらに弾性体を有し、この弾性体が、前記固定台の凹部の底面に配置されており、前記溶着ホーンの先端部において環状の凸部が形成されており、この凸部が前記溶着ホーン先端部の径方向に傾斜しているテーパ面を有し、このテーパ面が前記溶着面であり、これによって、前記溶着ホーンによる前記通気部材縁部と前記支持体の開口部周縁との溶着において、開口部側と反対側の溶着が、開口部側の溶着より強くなるように実施され、前記支持体の、前記溶着ホーンの先端部と通気部材が接触する部分の下に位置する部分に、凹部が設けられており、前記凹部は、溶着ホーンのテーパ面を有する部分の高さSと凹部の深さTの関係がT>Sであり、溶着ホーンの幅Xと、凹部の内縁部間の幅Yの関係がX>Yであり、かつ凹部の内縁側の角部が溶着ホーンのテーパ面に接触するように設けられていることを特徴とする溶着装置。
- 前記弾性体の形状が、シート状である請求項1または2記載の溶着装置。
- 前記弾性体の、JIS K 6253に定められたデュロメータ硬さ試験により測定されるゴム硬さが、20°〜90°の範囲である請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の溶着装置。
- 前記弾性体が、シリコーンゴムである請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の溶着装置。
- 前記テーパ面の傾斜角度が、前記溶着ホーンの軸方向に対し、30〜85度の範囲である請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の溶着装置。
- さらに、温度調節器を備え、これによって前記ヒータによる前記溶着ホーンの加熱を調節する請求項2記載の溶着装置。
- さらに、前記溶着ホーンを昇降するための昇降機を有する請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の溶着装置。
- 前記昇降機が、エアリフタである請求項8記載の溶着装置。
- 開口部を有する支持体の前記開口部に、溶着によって通気部材を取り付ける通気部材付支持体の製造方法であって、請求項1から9のいずれかに記載の溶着装置を用いる製造方法。
- 前記通気部材として、前記支持体の開口部および前記溶着装置の前記溶着ホーンの先端部面よりも大きな前記通気部材を用いる請求項10記載の製造方法。
