Description
Claims (24)
- 離れて配置されて互いに電気的に接続しない複数の導線を支持する支持媒体を有し、
それぞれの導線は、導線の近くに位置する指の存在を検出するために前記導線の容量を変化させるために、指の近接に反応し、
前記導線の間で支持媒体の面へ向かう磁界を集中させるための前記導線に近接する導電媒体を更に有し、当該導電媒体は、導電媒体の変形なしに、複数の導線を備える郡からなるサブセットの、指の近接により生じる容量の変化を変更するように適合され、
前記導電媒体は、100Ω/スクエアから10,000,000Ω/スクエアまでの範囲の抵抗値を有し、
前記導電媒体は、前記支持媒体の少なくとも一部を覆う導電層であり、
前記導電層に近接する非導電層を更に有し、当該非導電層は、ユーザの前記導電層への直接的な接触を妨げる、接触パッド。 - 前記導電層は、不連続である請求項1に記載の接触パッド。
- 前記導電層は、支持媒体の第1表面または誘電媒体の第1表面で支持される請求項1または2に記載の接触パッド。
- 前記誘電媒体は、前記導電層の厚さと比較して相対的に大きな厚さを有する請求項3に記載の接触パッド。
- 前記支持媒体および導電層は、前記誘電媒体により分離される請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の接触パッド。
- 前記導電層は、支持媒体と誘電媒体の間に挟まれる請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の接触パッド。
- 前記支持媒体は、導電層と誘電媒体の間に挟まれる請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の接触パッド。
- 前記誘電媒体に近接する更なる導電層を有し、導電層と更なる導電層の間に、誘電媒体が挟まれる請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の接触パッド。
- 前記導電媒体は、電気的に浮遊し、またはアースに接地される請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の接触パッド。
- 前記導電媒体は、導線または抵抗体により接地される請求項9に記載の接触パッド。
- 前記更なる導電層は、誘電媒体の第1表面と実質的に反対側の第2表面により支持される請求項8に記載の接触パッド。
- 前記更なる導電層は、誘電媒体の第2表面の領域によって分離される複数の電気的に絶縁した導電領域を含む請求項11に記載の接触パッド。
- 誘電媒体の第1表面上の導電領域と誘電媒体の第2表面上の導電領域は、対応する実質的に重なる領域によって、互いに位置合わせされる請求項12に記載の接触パッド。
- 誘電媒体の第1表面上の導電領域と誘電媒体の第2表面上の導電領域は、対応するオーバーラップするが完全には重ならない領域によって、互いに位置合わせされる請求項12に記載の接触パッド。
- 前記位置合わせされた領域は、誘電媒体を介して容量結合される請求項13または14に記載の接触パッド。
- 前記導電領域は、実質的に長方形である請求項11〜15のいずれか1項に記載の接触パッド。
- 前記複数の導線は、互いに電気的に絶縁される請求項1〜16のいずれか1項に記載の接触パッド。
- それぞれの導線は、電気的に絶縁する外被で覆われる請求項17に記載の接触パッド。
- 前記接触パッドは、非平面構造に配置される請求項1〜18のいずれか1項に記載の接触パッド。
- 前記接触パッドは、弾力性を有する請求項1〜19のいずれか1項に記載の接触パッド。
- 前記接触パッドは、変形可能である請求項1〜19のいずれか1項に記載の接触パッド。
- 接触検出回路および起動回路を有する検知回路を備える請求項1〜21のいずれか1項に記載の接触パッドを備える接触パッドシステムであって、前記検知回路は接触パッドの状態を測定するために周期的に休止および起動し、休止している際に、接触に反応して検知回路が起動し、接触点の判定のために表面をスキャンする接触パッドシステム。
- 前記接触は、約3マイクロ秒未満で検出される請求項22に記載の接触パッドシステム。
- 休止時の検知回路の消費電力は、約10マイクロアンプ未満である請求項22または23に記載の接触パッドシステム。
