[0017]
Here, the prize ball command is a command for instructing the payout control board H of the number of prize balls to be paid out, and is composed of 1 byte. Since the maximum number of winning balls for a single winning is 15 balls, when the winning ball command is composed of 1 byte, 15 types of data “01H” to “0FH” corresponding to the maximum number of winning balls Is a prize ball command. In other words, when the upper 4 bits of the command composed of 1 byte are “0”, it is determined as a prize ball command.
[0018]
The prize ball pointer 23b is a pointer indicating the position of the prize ball buffer 23a for storing the number of prize balls, and the number of prize balls to be paid out is stored in the value-th prize ball buffer 23a of the prize ball pointer 23b. The value of the prize ball pointer 23b is incremented by “1” by writing the number of prize balls in the prize ball buffer 23a, and conversely, the value of the 0th prize ball buffer 23a is transmitted to the payout control board H. “1” is subtracted.

The remaining prize ball counter 23c is a counter for storing the number of unpaid prize balls, and is a counter for managing the number of prize balls to be paid out by the payout control board H on the main control board C. Each time the main control board C instructs the payout control board H to pay out the prize balls, the value of the remaining prize ball number counter 23c is incremented. Conversely, the payout control board H pays out the prize balls. Each time the award ball count

When the command of the command data written in the transmission buffer 23e is transmitted to the payout control board H, the content of the transmission buffer 23e is cleared to 0 (S429). The command data stored in the transmission buffer 23e is output to the payout control board H in the power recovery process of FIG. 5 (S27).

[0028]
As described above, the main control board C is connected to the payout control board H via the buffers (inverter gates) 26 and 46 whose inputs and outputs are fixed. Therefore, transmission / reception of each command such as a prize ball command between the main control board C and the payout control board H is performed only in one direction from the main control board C to the payout control board H. It cannot be performed on the control board C. The main control board C and the payout control board H are connected by eight data lines and one strobe line, and when the data on the strobe line becomes active, the data is output onto the eight data lines. The transmitted data is transmitted from the main control board C to the payout control board H as a command. This strobe line is connected to an interrupt input terminal and an input port of the payout control board H, respectively. Therefore, the payout control board H can recognize the active strobe signal by two methods of generating an interrupt and inputting a port (reading port data). This connection method will be described later with reference to FIG.

The initialization flag 43b is a flag that is turned on when the payout control board H receives an initialization command transmitted from the main control board C. The initialization command is a command that is transmitted when the backup data is cleared in the startup process of the main control board C, and is a command that gives an instruction for initialization and a prize ball payout permission to the payout control board H. It is. When the payout control board H receives this initialization command, it turns on the initialization flag 43b (S112). If the payout control board H has already completed the initialization process (S96), the payout control board H sets the initialization flag 43b. After being turned off (S98), the processing is shifted to each processing (S100), and a state in which a prize ball can be paid out is set. On the other hand, when the initialization command is received in the state where the data backup is effectively performed in the payout control board H (S94: Yes, S102: Yes), the initialization process is executed in accordance with the main control board C. After that (S103), the process proceeds to each processing (S100), and a state in which a prize ball can be paid out is set. In this case, the initialization flag 43b once turned on is turned off by an initialization process (S103) executed thereafter.

In the return process (power recovery process) from S21, first, the signal of the tank ball switch 34 is read to detect whether or not there is a ball in the storage tank. If there is no ball in the storage tank (S21: Yes), a tank ball no state command is transmitted to the dispensing control board H (S22). Conversely, if there is a ball in the storage tank (S21: No), there is no tank ball state. A release command is transmitted to the payout control board H (S23). Next, the signal of the lower pan full tank switch 35 is read to detect whether the
[0050]
After the command is transmitted by the processes of S21 to S26, the command data output to the payout control board H before the power failure is output again (S27). The re-output here is a re-output of only command data, and no strobe signal is output. As will be described later, when a command is transmitted, a power failure or the like occurs after the output of command data (after the execution of the process of S422 in FIG. 7) and before the output of the strobe signal (before the execution of the process of S424). When the power is cut off, even after returning to the process immediately after the power failure after the power recovery process in FIG. 5, the strobe signal is output without outputting the command data, so the payout control board H receives the command. I can't. This is because the command data output from the command port of the input /
[0051]
The command data is re-output by re-outputting the contents of the transmission buffer 23e. Therefore, when the contents of the transmission buffer 23e are saved in the backup area 23d, the transmission buffer 23e is processed in S27. After the contents are restored, the contents of the restored transmission buffer 23e are output to the payout control board H as command data.
[0052]
Further, even if there is no power-off due to the occurrence of a power failure or the like after execution of S422 to before execution of S424, the command data is output again in S27. As described above, since the command is received by outputting the command data and the strobe signal, the command is not received if the strobe signal is not output even if the command data is re-output by S27, and is already received before the power failure. The payout control board H will not receive the command again after a power failure. Therefore, even if the command data is re-output by the process of S27, double reception of the same command can be avoided. Further, after the command is transmitted, the content of the transmission buffer 23e is cleared to 0 (S429 in FIG. 7). In this embodiment, the “0” command is not a command for giving any instruction to the payout control board H. Therefore, even if the “0” command is transmitted to the payout control board H, the payout control board H may malfunction. There is no invitation.
[0053]
After the processing of S27, the data of each register, I / O, etc. saved in the backup area 23d by the NMI interrupt processing of FIG. 4 is read from the backup area 23d, and these respective data are restored to the original register, I / O, etc. (S28). However, no command data or strobe signal is output here, and double reception of the same command does not occur as described above. Further, the value of the stack pointer is read from the backup area 23d and written to the stack pointer to return to the state before the power interruption (before the power failure), that is, the state before the occurrence of the NMI interrupt (S29). Similarly, the interrupt state is returned to the state before the power interruption (before the power failure) stored in the process of FIG. 4 executed when the power failure occurs, that is, the state before the NMI interrupt occurrence (S30). Thereafter, the NMI interrupt is returned to return to the place where the process was executed before the power was turned off, and the control is continued from the state before the power was turned off. Thereby, the power recovery process on the main control board C is completed.

[0057]
In the prize ball command transmission process (S40), it is first checked whether or not the value of the prize ball pointer 23b is “0” (S41). If the value of the prize ball pointer 23b is not “0” (S41: No), it means that the number of prize balls to be paid out is stored in the prize ball buffer 23a, and therefore the value of the 0th prize ball buffer 23a. Is set as a prize ball command, and the prize ball command is transmitted to the payout control board H (S42). After the prize ball command is transmitted, the value of the 0th prize ball buffer 23a, which is the prize ball number data transmitted by the prize ball command, is added to the remaining prize ball number counter 23c (S43). Then, the value of the first and subsequent prize ball buffers 23a is shifted one byte at a time to the smaller address side (S44), the value of the prize ball buffer 23a is updated, and the value of the transmitted 0th prize ball buffer 23a is updated. Further, “1” is subtracted from the value of the prize ball pointer 23b (S45). On the other hand, in the process of S41, if the value of the prize ball pointer 23b is “0” (S41: Yes), the prize ball data to be paid out is not stored in the prize ball buffer 23a. Each process is skipped, the prize ball command transmission process (S40) is terminated, and the process proceeds to a prize ball detection process of S50.
[0058]
In the prize ball detection process (S50), it is first determined whether or not the prize

FIG. 7 is a flowchart showing details of the command transmission processing portion (S42) executed in the prize ball command transmission processing (S40) of the prize ball processing shown in FIG. An assembler corresponding to the processing is shown on the right side of the chart.
[0060]
First, command data to be output to the payout control board H is written to the transmission buffer 23e (S421), and the contents of the transmission buffer 23e are output to the command port (S422). As a result, command data is output from the command port of the input /
[0061]
Thereafter, the strobe off data is set (S426), and the strobe off data is output to the strobe port (S427). Then, after executing a wait process for a predetermined time in order to determine that the strobe signal is turned off by the output of the strobe off data (S428), 0 data is written to the transmission buffer 23e and cleared (S429), and the cleared transmission is performed. The contents of the buffer 23e are output to the command port (S430), and the command transmission is completed.
[0062]
Here, if the power is cut off after the command data is output (after execution of the process of S422) and before the output of the strobe signal (before the execution of the process of S424), the power supply is turned off. Even after returning to the process immediately after the occurrence of a power failure after the power recovery process, the process of S422 has already been completed, so that the command data is not output and the strobe signal is output by the process of S424. Therefore, the payout control board H cannot receive the command data output in the process of S422. However, in this embodiment, as described above, the command data output before the power failure during the power recovery process is output again (S27). In this case, the command data output in the process of S422 is also used. It can be received reliably.
[0063]
Next, each process performed on the payout control board H will be described with reference to FIGS. FIG. 8 is a flowchart of the command reception interrupt process executed in the interrupt process of the payout control board H. This command reception interrupt process is executed when the strobe signal output from the main control board C is input to the interrupt input terminal of the MPU 41 of the payout control board H.

Next, it will be described how the strobe signal is turned on in the process of S62. Originally, since the command reception interrupt process is executed when the strobe signal is turned on, such a strobe signal check seems meaningless. However, if the NMI interrupt process (FIG. 10) is executed due to the occurrence of a power failure or the like after the start of the command reception interrupt process and before the received

On the other hand, if the strobe signal is not turned on (S81: No), there is no command to be received, so that the processing from S82 to S86 is skipped and the processing proceeds to S87. [0076]
In the initialization process from the process of S95, first, a normal stack pointer is set, the contents of the stack are arranged (S95), RAM clearing and initialization process are executed (S96), and the
[0077]
Even when the initialization command transmitted from the main control board C is received during the power recovery command reception process (S97), after that, the interrupt is permitted (S99) and each process (S100). ), The RAM clearing and initialization process (S96) is not executed redundantly.
[0078]
If the backup is valid (S94: Yes), the process proceeds to S101, and each state of the payout control board H is returned to the state before the power is turned off. In the return process from S101, first, the power recovery command reception process shown in FIG. 12 is executed in the interrupt disabled state (S101). As will be described later, when an initialization command is received in the power recovery command reception process, the initialization flag 43b is turned on (S112). Therefore, if the initialization flag 43b is turned on after executing the power recovery command reception process (S102: Yes), it means that the initialization command has been received, so the RAM clear and initialization process are executed. (S103) The
[0079]
As described with reference to FIG. 5, since the main control board C executes the wait process (S18) after transmitting the initialization command and waits for the execution of the subsequent process for a predetermined time, the RAM control by the payout control board H and the initial A new command is not transmitted from the main control board C during the execution of the conversion process (S103). Therefore, the payout control board H can normally perform the payout control of the game even in such a case.
[0080]
On the other hand, if the initialization flag 43b is not turned on after execution of the power recovery command reception processing in S101 (S102: No), the initialization command is not received and the tank ball no state command or the tank ball no state release command is received. And a lower pan full state command or a lower pan full state release command has been received. These commands are commands having a function as a prize ball payout permission command. Therefore, in such a case, data such as each register and I / O saved in the backup area 43d is read from the backup area 43d, and these data are written to the original register and I / O (S104). Then, the value of the stack pointer is read from the backup area 43d and written to the stack pointer (S105) to return to the state before the power interruption (before the power failure), that is, the state before the occurrence of the NMI interrupt. Similarly, the interrupt state is also returned to the state before the power interruption (before the power failure) stored in the process of FIG. 10 executed when the power failure occurs, that is, the state before the NMI interrupt occurrence (S106). Thereafter, the NMI interrupt is returned, the processing is returned to the place where it was executed before the power was turned off, and the control is continued from the state before the power was turned off. In this case, the control returns to one of the processes (S100), so that the winning ball can be paid out.
[0081]
FIG. 12 is a flowchart of a power recovery command reception process executed in the start-up process (power recovery process) of the payout control board H. The power recovery command reception process (S97, S101) is executed in the power recovery process in an interrupt disabled state. As described above, the main control board C and the payout control board H are connected by eight data lines and one strobe line, and when the data on the strobe line becomes active, the eight data lines are connected. The command data output on the line is transmitted as a command from the main control board C to the payout control board H, but the strobe line is connected to the interrupt input terminal and the input port of the payout control board H, respectively. Even when interrupts are prohibited, it is possible to detect the strobe signal active by inputting the port input (data reading) of the strobe line state and receive a command transmitted from the main control board C. it can. That is, in this power recovery command reception process, each command is received in an interrupt disabled state by inputting the strobe signal into the port (reading data).
[0082]
As shown in FIG. 5, in the start-up process of the main control board C, what is transmitted to the payout control board H is an initialization command, a tank ball no state command or a tank ball no state release command, and a lower pan full state Command or lower pan full state release command. Of these commands, the first command to be transmitted is one of three commands: an initialization command, a tank ball no state command, or a tank ball no state release command. Therefore, in the power recovery command reception process shown in FIG. 12, first, the reception of any of these three commands is waited (S111: No, S113: No, S114: No).
[0083]
When the initialization command is received (S111: Yes), the initialization flag 43b is turned on (S112), and this process is terminated. Then, as described with reference to FIG. 11, if the RAM clearing and initialization processing is not executed, this is executed (S103), and the values of the
[0084]
On the other hand, when the tank ball no-state command is received among the three commands (S113: Yes), the tank ball no-flag flag 43e is turned on (S116). (S114: Yes), the tank ball absence flag 43e is turned off (S115). Next, it waits for reception of a lower pan full state command or a lower pan full state release command (S117: No, S118: No), and when a lower pan full state command is received (S117: Yes), The lower pan full flag 43f is turned on (S120). Conversely, when the lower pan full tank state release command is received (S118: Yes), the lower pan full flag 43f is turned off (S119). End the time command reception process.
[0085]
As described with reference to FIG. 11, after execution of the power recovery command reception process, the values and states of each register, memory, I / O, stack pointer, interrupt state, etc. are returned to the state before the occurrence of the power failure. The NMI returns to the address at the time of the power failure (S104 to S106). Therefore, in such a case, the tank ball no state command or the tank ball no state release command, and the lower pan full state command or the lower pan full state release command, that is, the command indicating the state of the
