Claims (5)
- 光時分割多重方式によって光信号を多重化する光信号多重化装置であって、
多重化の対象となる光信号を取得した場合に、取得した光信号の波長を変換し、波長に応じた伝播遅延を光信号に発生させる導波路に波長を変換した光信号を通し、当該光信号の遅延量を調整する遅延量調整手段と、
前記遅延量調整手段によって遅延量が調整された各光信号間の伝播遅延時間差を保ったまま、前記光信号の波形の劣化を補償する波形劣化補償手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする光信号多重化装置。 - 前記波形劣化補償手段によって波形の劣化が補償された光信号を多重化する光信号多重化手段と、前記光信号多重化手段によって多重化された光信号の波長を特定の波長に変換する波長変換手段とを更に備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光信号多重化装置。
- 前記波形劣化補償手段は、ファイバブラックグレーティングフィルタを用いたFBG分散補償器であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光信号多重化装置。
- 前記遅延量調整手段は、長さの異なる前記導波路を用いて前記光信号の遅延量を調整することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光信号多重化装置。
- 自光信号多重化装置は、波長分割多重方式によって光信号を多重化するWDM多重装置に接続され、
前記波形劣化補償手段によって波形の劣化が補償された光信号を多重化する光信号多重化手段を更に備え、前記光信号多重化手段によって多重化された光信号の波長を、波長分割多重方式による多重化に応じた波長に変換し、変換した光信号を前記WDM多重装置に出力する変換出力手段を更に備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光信号多重化装置。
