Description
図3は、本発明の実施形態に係るLOG型液晶表示装置を示す図である。
図3に示したLOG型液晶表示装置は、タイミング制御部122と電源部124とを含むメインPCB120と、FPC118を介してメインPCB120と接続されたデータPCB116と、データドライブIC114が実装され、データPCB116と液晶表示パネル106との間に接続されたデータTCP112と、ゲートドライブIC110が実装され、液晶表示パネル106に接続されたゲートTCP108とを備える。
図4に示すように、データドライブIC114は、タイミング制御部122からデータRGBが入力されるデータレジスタ141と、サンプリングクロックを発生させるためのシフトレジスタ142と、シフトレジスタ142とデータラインDL間に接続された、第1のラッチ回路143、第2のラッチ回路144、チャンネル選択部145、デジタル/アナログ変換器(Digital to Analog Converter:以下、「DAC」という)146及び出力回路147と、DAC146と接続されたガンマ電圧供給部148とを備える。
Claims (4)
- 液晶表示パネル上に実装され、前記液晶表示パネルにゲート信号を供給するためのゲートドライブ集積回路と、
前記液晶表示パネルにデータ電圧を供給するためのデータドライブ集積回路と
を備えるラインオンガラス型液晶表示装置において、
前記データドライブ集積回路は、
前記データ電圧が供給される有効出力チャンネル及び前記有効出力チャンネルを除くダミー出力チャンネルを備える出力回路と、
前記ダミー出力チャンネルのうちの少なくとも何れか一つに、共通電圧を選択的に供給し、前記有効出力チャンネルに、データ電圧を選択的に供給するためのチャンネル選択部と
を含み、
前記チャンネル選択部は、
チャンネル選択信号が供給される選択信号受信部と、
前記選択信号受信部からのチャンネル選択信号に応じて、データ電圧生成のためのデジタルデータ及び共通電圧生成のためのデジタル共通信号のうちの何れか一つを選択するための第1及び第2のANDゲートと
を含むことを特徴とするラインオンガラス型液晶表示装置。 - 前記第1及び第2のANDゲートは、互いに反対となる論理値により駆動されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のラインオンガラス型液晶表示装置。
- 前記チャンネル選択部と出力回路との間に位置し、前記チャンネル選択部により選択されたデジタル信号をアナログ信号に変換するためのデジタル/アナログ変換部をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のラインオンガラス型液晶表示装置。
- 前記液晶表示パネルは、液晶を間において対面するように位置する薄膜トランジスタアレイ基板とカラーフィルターアレイ基板とを含み、前記ダミー出力チャンネルを介して供給される共通電圧は、前記カラーフィルターアレイ基板上に形成された共通電極に銀ドットを介して供給し、前記銀ドットは前記データドライブ集積回路それぞれのダミー出力チャンネルと対応するように前記液晶表示パネルに形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のラインオンガラス型液晶表示装置。
