Claims (2)
- 基板上に、平板状のファラデー回転子と偏光子からなる光アイソレータ素子と、該光アイソレータ素子と互いの側面が対峙して近接配置するとともに前記ファラデー回転子に磁界を与える磁石とを接合材を介して固定してなる光アイソレータにおいて、前記磁石は、前記磁石の固定面の一部から突出した凸部が前記基板に接合されて固定されており、前記凸部は、前記光アイソレータ素子と対峙する前記磁石の側面と反対側の第2の側面寄りに、前記光アイソレータ素子と隔てて形成されているとともに、前記第2の側面と隣接する一対の端面側に沿わせて形成されており、該一対の端面側に沿わせた部分と前記第2の側面寄り部分との間の屈曲部が曲面に形成されていることを特徴とする光アイソレータ。
- 前記光アイソレータ素子と基板との間には、前記光アイソレータ素子の熱膨張係数に近似したコア基板が介在していることを特徴とする請求項1記載の光アイソレータ。
