Description
この成分調整部は、上記特定成分を選択的に透過させて分離する分離膜とこれを支持する多孔質支持体からなる成分分離壁にて区画される2室の一方の室を、上記燃料ポンプから成分調整前の燃料が流入する燃料流入口を有する前室とし、他方の室を、上記成分分離壁を通過した上記特定燃料を一時貯留させる後室として、上記後室を開閉弁を介して低圧側通路に接続してあり、
上記開閉弁が開状態である時に、上記前室から上記後室へ上記特定燃料を分離させることにより成分調整された燃料を上記噴射弁へ供給し、上記開閉弁が閉状態である時に、上記前室から上記後室への上記特定燃料の分離を制限して成分調整されない燃料を上記噴射弁へ供給することを特徴とする。

Claims (8)
- 燃料タンクの燃料を燃料供給路に設けた燃料ポンプを経て噴射弁に供給する内燃機関の燃料供給装置であって、
上記噴射弁近傍の燃料供給路の途中に上記燃料の中から特定成分を分離することにより燃料成分組成を調整する成分調整部を備えており、
該成分調整部は、上記特定成分を選択的に透過させて分離する分離膜とこれを支持する多孔質支持体からなる成分分離壁にて区画される2室の一方の室を、上記燃料ポンプから成分調整前の燃料が流入する燃料流入口を有する前室とし、他方の室を、上記成分分離壁を通過した上記特定燃料を一時貯留させる後室として、上記後室を開閉弁を介して低圧側通路に接続してあり、
上記開閉弁が開状態である時に、上記前室から上記後室へ上記特定燃料を分離させることにより成分調整された燃料を上記噴射弁へ供給し、上記開閉弁が閉状態である時に、上記前室から上記後室への上記特定燃料の分離を制限して成分調整されない燃料を上記噴射弁へ供給することを特徴とする内燃機関の燃料供給装置。 - 上記成分調整部は、上記燃料ポンプによって加圧された燃料が流入する上記前室と上記後室との間に圧差を生じさせることで、上記特定成分を上記前室から上記成分分離壁を通過して上記後室へ移動させる請求項1に記載の内燃機関の燃料供給装置。
- 上記後室に接続される上記低圧側通路に減圧ポンプを設けた請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関の燃料供給装置。
- 複数の上記噴射弁と、各噴射弁への燃料入口が接続される共通の燃料供給室を設けて、該共通の燃料供給室に、上記成分調整部を設けた請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の燃料供給装置。
- 複数の上記噴射弁と、各噴射弁への燃料入口にそれぞれ接続される複数の個別燃料供給室を設けて、該個別燃料供給室に、上記成分調整部を設けた請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の燃料供給装置。
- 上記分離膜は、ゼオライト膜またはメソポーラスシリカ膜である請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の燃料供給装置。
- 請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関の燃料供給装置を備え、
上記開閉弁を開閉して上記噴射弁への燃料供給を制御する燃料供給制御装置であって、
内燃機関の停止時に上記開閉弁を開弁して、上記前室の燃料残圧により上記特定成分を上記後室へ分離させ、内燃機関の始動後に上記開閉弁を閉弁して、上記特定成分の分離を停止する開閉弁制御手段を設けたことを特徴とする燃料供給制御装置。 - 上記開閉弁制御手段は、内燃機関の回転数に基づいて始動の有無を判定し、始動がなされたと判定された時に、上記開閉弁を閉弁する請求項7に記載の燃料供給制御装置。
