Description
・DPF35に捕集されているPM量(PM捕集量)が閾値(例えば所定値「10g」、必要に応じて可変値)よりも多い(PM捕集量>閾値)。
・DPF35の温度(例えば中心温度)が閾値T0(例えば所定値「600℃」、必要に応じて可変値)よりも高い(DPF温度>閾値T0)。
・エンジン10(ひいては車両)が減速状態にある。
の3つの条件を同時に満たすか否かを判断し、ここで全ての条件を同時に満たす旨判断された場合には、DPF35に対する冷却処理の実行が必要であるとして、続くステップS14にて、冷却処理実行フラグに「1」を設定(冷却処理実行フラグ=1)した後、この図2の一連の処理を終了する。他方、ステップS11〜S13において、これら3つの条件のうち1つでも満たさない旨判断された場合には、DPF35に対する冷却処理の実行は必要ないとして、そのまま図2の一連の処理を終了し、冷却処理実行フラグの値は初期値として設定された「0」のまま変更されない。
Claims (11)
- エンジンから排出される排気中のPM(粒子状物質)を捕集してその捕集したPMを除去するための再生処理として燃焼処理の施されるフィルタに対し、所定の冷却処理を施してその過昇温の防止を図る装置であって、
前記フィルタ周辺の酸素濃度を減少させることにより前記フィルタを冷却する酸欠冷却手段と、
前記フィルタへ流入する排気量を増量することにより前記フィルタを冷却する排気量増量冷却手段と、
所定条件の成立に基づき、前記所定の冷却処理として、前記酸欠冷却手段による酸欠冷却処理と前記排気量増量冷却手段による排気量増量冷却処理とのいずれか一方を選択的に実行する冷却処理選択実行手段と、
前記エンジンが所定の運転状態にあるか否かに基づいて同フィルタに対する冷却処理の実行が必要か否かを判断する冷却処理実行判断手段と、
前記排気量増量冷却手段により排気量を増量した場合に前記フィルタが過昇温に至るか否かを、その増量に先立って判断する排気量増量実行判断手段と、
を備え、
前記冷却処理選択実行手段は、前記冷却処理実行判断手段により冷却処理の実行が必要である旨判断された場合に前記所定の冷却処理を実行するものであって且つ、前記排気量増量実行判断手段により過昇温に至らない旨判断された場合には前記酸欠冷却手段による酸欠冷却処理よりも前記排気量増量冷却手段による排気量増量冷却処理を優先的に実行するものであることを特徴とする排気浄化装置の過昇温防止装置。 - 前記冷却処理選択実行手段は、前記冷却処理実行判断手段により冷却処理の実行が必要である旨判断されて冷却処理を開始する時において前記排気量増量実行判断手段により過昇温に至らない旨判断された場合には、前記排気量増量冷却手段により排気量増量冷却処理を実行するものである請求項1に記載の排気浄化装置の過昇温防止装置。
- 前記冷却処理選択実行手段は、前記酸欠冷却手段により酸欠冷却処理を実行している最中に前記排気量増量実行判断手段により過昇温に至らない旨判断された場合にあっては、冷却手段を前記酸欠冷却手段から前記排気量増量冷却手段へ切り替えるものである請求項1又は2に記載の排気浄化装置の過昇温防止装置。
- 前記冷却処理選択実行手段は、前記排気量増量冷却手段により排気量増量冷却処理を実行している最中に前記排気量増量実行判断手段により過昇温に至る旨判断された場合にあっては、冷却手段を前記排気量増量冷却手段から前記酸欠冷却手段へ切り替えるものである請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の排気浄化装置の過昇温防止装置。
- 前記排気量増量実行判断手段は、
前記排気量増量冷却手段により前記増量を実行した時に前記フィルタへ流入する増量後の排気量として許容排気量が得られるか否かを前記エンジンの運転状態に基づき判断する増量後排気量判断手段と、
前記増量後排気量判断手段により増量後排気量として許容排気量が得られる旨判断された場合には前記フィルタが過昇温に至らない旨判断し、同増量後排気量判断手段により増量後排気量が許容排気量に満たない旨判断された場合には前記フィルタが過昇温に至る旨判断するフィルタ過昇温判断手段と、
によって構成されるものである請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の排気浄化装置の過昇温防止装置。 - 前記フィルタの時々の温度及びPM捕集量に応じて前記許容排気量を可変とする許容排気量可変手段を備える請求項5に記載の排気浄化装置の過昇温防止装置。
- 前記冷却処理実行判断手段は、前記フィルタの時々の温度及びPM捕集量も加味して前記フィルタに対する冷却処理の実行が必要か否かを判断するものである請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の排気浄化装置の過昇温防止装置。
- 前記冷却処理実行判断手段にてエンジン運転状態についての判断指標とする前記所定の運転状態は減速状態である請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の排気浄化装置の過昇温防止装置。
- 前記フィルタの温度が高いか否かに基づいて同フィルタに対する冷却処理の継続が必要か否かを判断する冷却処理継続判断手段をさらに備え、
前記冷却処理選択実行手段は、前記冷却処理の非実行時において、前記冷却処理実行判断手段により冷却処理の実行が必要である旨判断された場合には前記所定の冷却処理を実行し、前記冷却処理の実行中において、前記冷却処理継続判断手段により冷却処理の継続が必要ない旨判断された場合にはその実行中の冷却処理を停止するものである請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の排気浄化装置の過昇温防止装置。 - 前記排気量増量冷却手段は、前記エンジンの吸気系に取り込まれる新気量、及び、前記エンジンの排気通路から吸気通路へ再循環されるEGR量の少なくとも一方を調整するものである請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の排気浄化装置の過昇温防止装置。
- 前記酸欠冷却手段は、前記エンジンの吸気系に取り込まれる新気量、及び、前記エンジンの排気通路から吸気通路へ再循環されるEGR量、及び、前記エンジンへ供給する燃料供給量、の少なくとも1つを調整するものである請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載の排気浄化装置の過昇温防止装置。
