Claims (4)
- 端末間においてSIP(Session Initiation Protocol)サーバを使用して接続が確立され、SIPプロトコルがその接続を確立させるために利用されている場合で、少なくとも2つの端末間で、ネットワーク上で、音声データ及び/又は映像データを含む時刻同期データを伝送する方法において、
前記SIPサーバは、
2つのエンドポイント間における端末間の接続に用いられるサービス品質を保証するための帯域幅の予約を、経路を構成するルータに前記接続のサービス品質の保証に実際に必要な帯域幅より大きくトラヒック中継線(traffic trunk)として確保させて、前記端末間のサービス品質を保証した接続を可能とし、
前記接続とは異なる接続に対する帯域幅の予約を、前記トラヒック中継線に集約することによって、前記異なる接続を通ずる時刻同期データを、サービス品質を保証した前記トラヒック中継線に前記接続を通ずる時刻同期データと共に伝送可能とする
ことを特徴とする時刻同期データの伝送方法。 - 請求項1記載の時刻同期データの伝送方法において、
前記SIPサーバは、
前記2つのエンドポイントに接続が確立されている間に、当該2つのエンドポイントを介して第1及び第2の端末間に確立する新らたな接続に対しては、対応する前記トラヒック中継線にマップを試みる
ことを特徴とする時刻同期データの伝送方法。 - 請求項1又は2記載の時刻同期データの伝送方法において、
前記SIPサーバによる帯域幅の予約は、QoS(Quality of Service)管理システムを用いて行われ、
前記SIPサーバは、
追加する新たな接続について要求される帯域幅が前記トラヒック中継線に残っていて利用できる予約済みの帯域幅を超えるならば、前記QoS管理システムを用いて、前記トラヒック中継線を構成するルータに対して当該トラヒック中継線として確保している帯域幅の拡張追加を要求する
ことによって行われることを特徴とする時刻同期データの伝送方法。 - 請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の時刻同期データの伝送方法において、
前記SIPサーバによってサービスを受ける全てのエンドポイント間の帯域予約を接続確立前に行うことを特徴とする時刻同期データの伝送方法。
