Description
(1)図5に示すように、針金22を用いて上部ヘッダーパイプ2aと冷媒液タンク20の両端部を結束することによって連結し固定する。
上記実施形態では、冷媒液タンク20に冷媒液封入口13を設け、この冷媒液封入口13から冷媒液Lを封入する場合について説明したが、図11に示すように、下部ヘッダーパイプ2bに空気抜き口16を設ける方が好ましい。このように、下部ヘッダーパイプ2bに空気抜き口16を設けることにより、冷媒液Lを冷媒液タンク20内に封入する際、冷媒液封入口13及び空気抜き口16を上方に位置させた状態にして、冷媒液封入口13から冷媒液Lを供給すると、冷媒液封入口13から供給された冷媒液Lが冷媒液タンク20,上部ヘッダーパイプ2a,熱交換チューブ3及び下部ヘッダーパイプ2b内に流れ込んで、内部の空気が空気抜き口16から外気に排気され、熱交換器内に冷媒液Lが充満される。したがって、冷媒液タンク20,上部ヘッダーパイプ2a,下部ヘッダーパイプ2b及び熱交換チューブ3内に冷媒液Lを迅速に封入することができる。冷媒液Lを封入した後に、冷媒液封入口13及び空気抜き口16は図示しないキャップによって閉塞される。

Claims (2)
- 上下に対峙する上部ヘッダーパイプと下部ヘッダーパイプの間に互いに平行な熱交換チューブを配設し、この熱交換チューブを経て上部ヘッダーパイプから下部ヘッダーパイプへ又はその逆に冷媒液が流れる熱交換器において、
上部ヘッダーパイプの上部に、上記冷媒液を収容する冷媒液タンクを配設し、この冷媒液タンクと上部ヘッダーパイプとを各々に設けられた複数の連通穴により各々の連通穴が合致した状態で連通すると共に、上部ヘッダーパイプの上面及び冷媒液タンクの下面にそれぞれ形成された平坦面同士を接合し、上部ヘッダーパイプ内を冷媒液タンクからの冷媒液で満たすと共に、冷媒液タンク内の冷媒液の上方に空気層を残した構成とした、ことを特徴とする熱交換器。 - 請求項1記載の熱交換器において、
上記上部ヘッダーパイプ及び冷媒液タンクが角型に形成されている、ことを特徴とする熱交換器。
