Claims (9)
- MRイメージング用のマグネットの撮像部(142)よりも大きい被検体(200)の関心ボリュームから画像を形成するためのイメージング装置であって、このイメージング装置は、
静磁場を形成させるためのマグネット組立体(141)と、
MR画像の形成に用いられる磁場勾配を発生するための勾配コイル組立体(139)と、
無線周波数パルスを送信し、所定の撮像シーケンスの間、前記被検体から誘導された複数の磁気共鳴(MR)信号を検出するように、該被検体の周りに配置された少なくとも1つの無線周波数(RF)コイル配列(353)と、
前記被検体を支持し、撮像中に該被検体を並進させるための位置決め装置(134)と、
各々が、前記位置決め装置の並進速度に比例した速度でそれぞれの中心周波数を調整するように適合された、前記複数のMR信号を受信するための複数の受信器(250−252)と、
前記大きな関心ボリュームから画像を形成するために、所定の処理手順を実行するコンピュータを内蔵する画像処理装置(106)とを具備し、
前記処理手順は、
前記位置決め装置(134)を用いて前記ボリュームを前記MRIシステムの軸線に沿って並進させ、該ボリュームが前記マグネットの撮像部(142)内にあるときに該ボリュームの一部分を撮像する並進撮像段階と、
前記位置決め装置が前記ボリュームを並進させるときに、前記MRIシステム内の所定の撮影領域について、少なくとも1つの無線周波数(RF)コイル配列(353)から複数のMR信号を検出する検出段階と、
各々が、前記位置決め装置の並進の速度に比例した速度でそれぞれの中心周波数を調整するように適合されている、複数の受信器(250−252)に前記複数のMR信号を送信する送信段階と、
前記複数の受信器の各々、及び前記被検体の複数の段階的位置における所定の撮影領域(FOV)について、前記複数のMR信号に対応する複数のそれぞれのサブ画像を計算する計算段階と、
前記それぞれのサブ画像から中央部分を抽出する抽出段階と、
前記複数のそれぞれのサブ画像から抽出された中央部分のみを結合して、前記関心ボリュームの合成画像を形成する合成段階、
とを含むことを特徴とするイメージング装置。 - 前記少なくとも1つのRFコイル配列(353)が、前記被検体の周りに配置された固定具(310)に取り付けられたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のイメージング装置。
- 前記固定具(310)及び該固定具に取り付けられた前記RFコイル配列(353)が、前記静磁場に対して固定されていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のイメージング装置。
- 前記固定具(310)及び該固定具に取り付けられた前記RFコイル配列(353)が、前記静磁場に対して移動可能であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のイメージング装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つのRFコイル配列(353)が、周波数エンコード方向に対して直交する分布で配置された複数のコイル要素(300)を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のイメージング装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つのRFコイル配列(353)が、前記位置決め装置(134)の並進運動と同時に前記MR信号を検出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のイメージング装置。
- 前記撮像シーケンスが、マルチ・スライス、マルチ・スラブ、及びボリューム撮像シーケンスのうちの1つであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のイメージング装置。
- 前記並進撮像段階が、前記マグネットの前記撮像部内で前記被検体の選択された長さを撮像するまで繰り返されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のイメージング装置。
- 前記大きな関心ボリュームが、前記被検体の頭部からつま先までのビューであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のイメージング装置。
