Claims (1)
- 磁場の移動方向が鋳型幅方向であるリニア型移動磁場発生装置を用い、矩形状鋳型の中央部に設置された浸漬ノズルから吐出される、極低炭素鋼からなる溶鋼の吐出流に、制動力を与えるべく鋳型短辺側から浸漬ノズル側に向かう移動磁場を印加して鋳型内の溶鋼流動を制御しながら鋳造する極低炭素鋼スラブ鋳片の連続鋳造方法であって、前記移動磁場の周波数を2Hzから4Hzの範囲内として、浸漬ノズルから鋳型内に注入される溶鋼の、鋳型幅1/4の鋳型短辺寄りの位置における湯面直下溶鋼流速を、鋳型短辺から浸漬ノズルに向けた溶鋼流を正で表し、浸漬ノズルから鋳型短辺に向けた溶鋼流を負で表したときに、−0.07m/秒から0.05m/秒の範囲内に維持すると同時に、凝固シェル壁面における溶鋼流動を、凝固シェル壁面近傍での溶鋼流速を0.1m/秒以上とする部位が鋳型幅方向の8割以上を占める溶鋼流動に維持することを特徴とする、極低炭素鋼スラブ鋳片の連続鋳造方法。
