Description
信号に基づいてその開度が制御される。一方、各気筒112は共通のエキゾーストマニホールド80に連結され、このエキゾーストマニホールド80は三元触媒コンバータ90に連結されている。
のタンジェンシャル型ポートは、吸気バルブ122の周辺で渦巻状となって左右に振れた形状とはならず、真っ直ぐに伸びて上下に大きく円弧を画いた先端部を有する。したがって吸気ポート内での流れに対する抵抗が小さく、吸気ポートの流量係数はスワールポートに比しはるかに大きくなり、エンジン10の体積効率が高くなり、多量の空気が燃焼室内に吸入することができるものである。このときの吸気ポートの流量係数Cfは0.5〜0.7以上が好ましい。
1)上面視(平面視)で、点火プラグ119を挟む扇形状であって、かつ、側面視で扇形状であってもよいし、
2)上面視で、点火プラグ119を挟む扇形状であって、かつ、側面視で上部のみの扇の形状であってもよいし、
3)上面視で、点火プラグ119を挟む扇形状であって、かつ、側面視で下部のみの扇の形状であってもよいし、
4)側面視で、点火プラグ119を挟む扇形状であってもよい。
エンジン10のアイドル運転中においては、検知されたアクセル開度が小さく、小さな負荷率KLが算出される(S100,S110)。この状態においてはエンジン10は低負荷領域で運転されている。
エンジン10の高負荷運転中においては(たとえば、追い越し加速中)、検知されたアクセル開度が大きく、大きな負荷率KLが算出される(S100,S110)。この状態においてはエンジン10は高負荷領域で運転されている。
以下、本実施の形態に係る制御装置が適用されるに適したエンジン(その1)について説明する。
以下、本実施の形態に係る制御装置が適用されるに適したエンジン(その2)について説明する。なお、以下のエンジン(その2)の説明において、エンジン(その1)と同じ説明については、ここでは繰り返さない。
Claims (9)
- 筒内に燃料を噴射するための燃料噴射手段を備えた内燃機関の制御装置であって、
前記内燃機関は、シリンダ孔の軸心を鉛直線に一致させた場合のシリンダの側面視で、シリンダヘッドの一側部に形成された吸気通路と、前記吸気通路の他側部に形成された排気通路と、前記シリンダ孔を上下動するピストンと、前記シリンダ孔内に放電部が臨む点火プラグとを含み、前記燃料噴射手段により噴射された燃料は、前記シリンダの平面視で、前記放電部を挟む八の字形状の噴霧を形成し、
前記制御装置は、
前記内燃機関の負荷状態を検知するための検知手段と、
前記負荷状態に基づいて、前記燃料噴射手段に供給される燃料の圧力を変化させるための燃圧制御手段と、
前記負荷状態に基づいて、前記筒内に吸入される空気量を変化させるための空気量制御手段と、
負荷が小さい場合に、吸気行程において前記筒内に燃料を噴射するように前記燃料噴射手段を制御するための噴射制御手段とを含み、
前記燃圧制御手段は、
負荷が大きい場合に、前記八の字形状の噴霧が交錯しない噴霧形態になるように、前記燃料の圧力が高くなるように制御するための手段と、
負荷が小さい場合に、前記八の字形状の噴霧が前記点火プラグ近傍で交錯する噴霧形態になるように、前記燃料の圧力が低くなるように制御するための手段とを含み、
前記空気量制御手段は、
負荷が大きい場合に、前記空気量が多くなるように制御するための手段と、
負荷が小さい場合に、前記空気量が少なくなるように制御するための手段とを含む、内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記燃料の圧力が低くなるように制御するための手段は、負荷が小さい場合に、前記筒内の負圧で噴霧の厚みを広げることによって前記八の字形状の噴霧が前記点火プラグ近傍で交錯する噴霧形態になるように、前記燃料の圧力が低くなるように制御する、請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記空気量制御手段は、前記吸気通路に設けられたスロットルバルブの開度を調整することにより、前記空気量を変化させるための手段を含む、請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記内燃機関は、吸気バルブのリフト量を変化させる可変リフト量制御機構が設けられ、
前記空気量制御手段は、前記可変リフト量制御機構を制御して前記リフト量を調整する
ことにより、前記空気量を変化させるための手段を含む、請求項1または2に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記シリンダの平面視で、前記八の字形状の2つの噴霧の広がり角は約40゜〜約50゜である、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記シリンダの平面視で、前記八の字形状の1つの噴霧の厚さは前記燃料噴射手段の噴口から約30mmの位置で約5゜〜約12゜である、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記シリンダの側面視で、前記八の字形状の1つの噴霧の厚さは前記燃料噴射手段の噴口から約40mmの位置で約29.5゜〜約37.5゜である、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記内燃機関は、吸気通路内に燃料を噴射するための燃料噴射手段をさらに含む、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記筒内に燃料を噴射するための燃料噴射手段は、筒内噴射用インジェクタであって、
前記吸気通路内に燃料を噴射するための燃料噴射手段は、吸気通路噴射用インジェクタである、請求項8に記載の内燃機関の制御装置。
