Description
粉粒状酸化アルミニウムを50メッシュ以下の粒状に精粒化して後、磁力選別手段によって鉄分を分離除去して0.1%以下の鉄含有量に処理し、前記磁力選別手段で選別できなかった酸化第二鉄(Fe2O3)を含んだ粉粒状酸化アルミニウムを、還元炉にて700〜800℃の還元ガス中で25分以上保持して四三酸化鉄(Fe3O4)に変態させ、再び磁力選別手段により選別して鉄分を除去処理し、しかる後炭素成分材とけい石とを加えて還元炉内で溶解還元させ、鉄分が1.0%未満のアルミニウム合金を生成することを特徴とするものである(第1発明)。

Claims (4)
- 粉粒状酸化アルミニウムを50メッシュ以下の粒状に精粒化して後、磁力選別手段によって鉄分を分離除去して0.1%以下の鉄含有量に処理し、前記磁力選別手段で選別できなかった酸化第二鉄(Fe2O3)を含んだ粉粒状酸化アルミニウムを、還元炉にて700〜800℃の還元ガス中で25分以上保持して四三酸化鉄(Fe3O4)に変態させ、再び磁力選別手段により選別して鉄分を除去処理し、しかる後炭素成分材とけい石とを加えて還元炉内で溶解還元させ、鉄分が1.0%未満のアルミニウム合金を生成することを特徴とする粉粒状酸化アルミニウムの処理方法。
- 還元炉内での溶解還元に添加される炭素成分材およびけい石は、いずれも粉砕して、磁力選別手段により鉄分を分離除去したものが用いられる請求項1に記載の粉粒状酸化アルミニウムの処理方法。
- 粉砕された炭素成分材およびけい石の粉粒体と粉粒状酸化アルミニウムとは、粘結材を加え混練して団塊状に形成した後に還元炉に投入される請求項2に記載の粉粒状酸化アルミニウムの処理方法。
- 前記精粒化された粉粒状酸化アルミニウム、粉砕された炭素成分材およびけい石から鉄分を選別する磁力選別手段は、ドラム回転式の磁力選別機である請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の粉粒状酸化アルミニウムの処理方法。
