Description
図1は、本発明の一実施形態であるモニタ制御装置を備えたデジタルカメラの概略的な構成を示すブロック図である。
撮像素子10から入力された画素データは、ホワイトバランス調整された後、画素補間を施され、全ての画素について、レッド(R)、グリーン(G)、およびブルー(B)の画素データが求められる。そして、各画素データはガンマ補正等の所定の処理が施された後、RGB/YUV変換が実行され、R、G、Bの画素データが公知の手法によって、輝度データ(Y)と、色差データすなわちUデータ(=B−Y)およびVデータ(=R−Y)とに変換される。

Claims (7)
- モニタの明るさを制御する手段と、
撮像素子により検出された画像の変化量を検出する手段と
を備え、
前記制御手段は、節電モードが設定されている状態において、前記変化量が閾値よりも大きいときに前記モニタの明るさを相対的に低くすることを特徴とする光学機器のモニタ制御装置。 - 前記制御手段は、前記変化量が前記閾値よりも小さいとき、前記節電モードであっても前記モニタの明るさを相対的に高くすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のモニタ制御装置。
- 前記モニタが液晶表示装置であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のモニタ制御装置。
- 前記制御手段が前記液晶表示装置のバックライトの発光量を調整することを特徴とする請求項3に記載のモニタ制御装置。
- 前記光学機器が撮影モードに設定されて前記モニタによるプレビューを必要とするとき、前記節電モードの設定が可能であり、前記撮影モードが設定されていないとき前記節電モードの設定が不可能であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のモニタ制御装置。
- 前記節電モードの設定の可否を切り換える手段を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のモニタ制御装置。
- 前記検出手段が、前記画像を複数のブロックに分割してブロック毎に輝度値の平均値を算出する平均値算出手段と、前記算出手段による前記平均値の算出を異なるフレームの画像に対して実行することにより前記変化量を算出する変化量算出手段とを備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のモニタ制御装置。
