Description
いて説明する。ここで、図1は電池装置の分解斜視図であり、図2は電池装置の断面図であり、図3は図2の点線Pで囲んだ領域を拡大した電池装置の部分拡大図である。本実施例の電池装置は、電気自動車、ハイブリッド自動車の駆動用又は補助電源として使用される。
冷却する冷却液23が収容されており、容器本体13の蓋取付面13eには、前記開口を
覆うように上蓋14が取付けられている。上蓋14及び容器本体13により、密閉容器1
1が構成される。

度の過剰な上昇により電池劣化が進行するため、冷却液23の熱を電池装置の外部に速や
かに放熱させる必要がある。

(変形例1)
変形例1として、図6(a)では、突起部141のYZ断面の形状を三角形にしている。これにより、実施例1と同様の効果を得ることができる。
(変形例2)
変形例2として、図6(b)では、内板部140に円柱状の突起部141をマトリクス状に形成している。変形例2は、実施例1、変形例1の構成よりも、自然対流する冷却液23の流れを整える能力に劣るが、突起部141を介して冷却液23の熱を上蓋14に伝熱することができる。
(変形例3)
変形例3として、図6(c)では、内板部140に円錐台状の突起部141をマトリクス状に形成している。変形例3によれば、変形例2と同様の効果を得ることができる。
(変形例4)
変形例4として、図7では、内板部(突起部)140に多数のホール部140aを形成している。内板部140の高さ方向(Z軸方向)の寸法は、実施例1よりも大きく設定されている。したがって、内板部140の下端面は冷却液23に浸漬しており、ホール部140aの一部(全部でもよい)に冷却液23が流入しており、ホール部140a内の空間は、空気及び冷却液23により二層化されている。これにより、変形例2及び3と同様の効果をえることができる。
(他の変形例)
上述の実施例では、上蓋14、内板部140及び突起部141を一体形成したが、別体で形成してもよい。この場合、内板部140及び突起部141を一体形成した部材を、上蓋14の内面に固定したり、上蓋14の内面に接触させた状態で容器本体13の内側面に固定させることができる。つまり、突起部141で受熱した冷却液23の熱を上蓋14に伝熱できる構成であれば、突起部141を必ずしも上蓋14に一体形成する必要はない。

Claims (6)
- 密閉容器と、
前記密閉容器に収容される蓄電体と、
前記密閉容器に収容され、前記蓄電体を浸漬して冷却するための冷却液と、
前記密閉容器の上蓋から前記冷却液内に延出し、前記冷却液の熱を前記上蓋に伝熱する突起部と、を有し、
前記突起部における下端部を含む一部が前記冷却液と接触していることを特徴とする蓄電装置。 - 前記突起部を複数有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の蓄電装置。
- 前記上蓋の内面は、前記冷却液の液面に対して平行であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の蓄電装置。
- 前記蓄電体は、複数の蓄電要素を直列又は並列に接続した蓄電要素集合体であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のうちいずれか一つに記載の蓄電装置。
- 各前記蓄電要素は、筒型形状であり、
各前記突起部は、前記蓄電要素の長手方向に対して直交する水平方向に延びており、自然対流する前記冷却液をガイドするためのガイド部を兼ねることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の蓄電装置。 - 容器本体及び上蓋からなる密閉容器に、蓄電体および該蓄電体を浸漬して冷却するための冷却液を収容した蓄電装置の製造方法であって、
前記上蓋の内面には突起部が形成されており、
前記突起部における下端部を含む一部を、前記容器本体内に注入された前記冷却液に接触させることを特徴とする蓄電装置の製造方法。
