Claims (7)
- 排気動力により吸入空気を過給する過給機と、同過給機の動力をアシストする動力アシスト装置と、過給圧を調整する過給圧調整手段とを備えた内燃機関に適用され、
前記過給機により過給された吸入空気の過給圧が目標とする過給圧に一致するように、前記過給圧調整手段の制御量を算出するとともに、その算出した制御量に基づいて前記過給圧調整手段を制御する過給圧フィードバック制御を行う制御装置において、
前記過給圧フィードバック制御が行われている場合に、目標とする過給圧を一定にしたままで、所定期間前記動力アシスト装置を制御する異常診断用アシスト制御手段と、
前記異常診断用アシスト制御手段による動力のアシストに伴う前記過給圧調整手段の制御量の変化量に基づいて前記過給機及び動力アシスト装置の異常の有無を診断する異常診断手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする過給機付き内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記異常診断用アシスト制御手段は、前記過給機及び動力アシスト装置に異常が無い場合には前記過給圧調整手段の制御量の変化量が予め規定した範囲内になるように、機関運転状態に基づいて前記アシストする動力の大きさを設定する設定手段を備え、同設定手段により設定した動力の大きさに基づいて前記動力アシスト装置を制御し、
前記異常診断手段は、前記過給圧調整手段の制御量の変化量が前記規定した範囲内であるか否かに基づいて前記過給機及び動力アシスト装置の異常の有無を診断することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の過給機付き内燃機関の制御装置。 - 前記設定手段は、前記機関運転状態として排気量又は吸入空気量に基づき、同排気量又は吸入空気量が多いほどアシストする動力を大きく設定することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の過給機付き内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記設定手段は、前記機関運転状態として前記過給機の温度に基づき、同温度が低いほどアシストする動力を大きく設定することを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載の過給機付き内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記異常診断用アシスト制御手段は、アシストを開始する場合にアシストする動力が徐々に増加し、同アシストを終了する場合にアシストする動力が徐々に低下するように、前記動力アシスト装置を制御することを特徴とする請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の過給機付き内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記異常診断用アシスト制御手段は、ファーストアイドル中に、前記動力アシスト装置を制御することを特徴とする請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の過給機付き内燃機関の制御装置。
- 前記過給圧調整手段は、前記過給機のタービンホイールをバイパスするバイパス路を開閉するウエストゲートバルブ、前記過給機のコンプレッサインペラをバイパスするバイパス路を開閉するエアバイパスバルブ、又は前記過給機は可変ノズル式ターボチャージャであってそのノズル開度を調整する可動ベーンの少なくともいずれかであることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の過給機付き内燃機関の制御装置。
