Claims (2)
- ガスタービンエンジン燃焼器(30)のライナ(40)の部分を取り換える方法であって、
前記ライナ(40)は、下流側がタービンノズル組立体に結合されており、内側及び外側ライナ(42及び44)により形成された燃焼ゾーン(36)を有し、
前記内側及び外側ライナの各々が、該内側及び外側ライナのオーバハング部分(84)により形成された複数の冷却形状部(88)を含んでおり、
前記方法は、
前記燃焼器内側及び外側ライナの少なくとも1つを前記オーバハング部分のうちの1つの後方で円周方向で切断して、切断線(122)から上流の前記燃焼器ライナの部分(124)が該燃焼器内に結合された状態で残存するようにする段階と、
前記切断線から後方の前記燃焼器ライナの部分を除去する段階と、
交換用ライナ部分が前記切断線から上流の前記燃焼器ライナの部分から後方へ延びるように、該交換用ライナ部分を前記燃焼器内に固定されたライナの残存部分に対して溶接することにより前記燃焼器内に取り付ける段階と、
前記交換用ライナ部分の下流側端部(50又は52)の支持フランジ(100又は102)を、前記ノズル組立体に結合する段階と
を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記ライナ(40)の各々が、内表面(80)と外表面(82)とを含んでおり、該方法が、前記燃焼器(16)内に取り付けられた各交換用ライナの前記内表面に断熱材料を施す段階を更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
