Description
本明細書中で用いる用語「窓」は、水切りが湿気の侵入を防止するのに役立つことになる窓、扉、煙突、電気的結線、または配管などの建物の任意の開口部を指す。
坪量は、ASTM D−3776によって求め、g/m2で記録した。
表面シートとして坪量1.2オンス/平方ヤード(41g/m2)を有する点接合軟構造の不織フラッシュ紡糸ポリエチレン網状フィラメントのフィルム−フィブリルシートを用いた。この表面シートはイー・アイ・デュポン・デ・ヌムール・アンド・カンパニー(デラウェア州ウィルミントン)(E.I.du Pont de Nemours and Company(Wilmington,Delaware))により商品名タイベック(Tyvek)(登録商標)1442A型で市販されており、表1に示す特性を有する。
水切り材料用の基材として坪量1.38オンス/平方ヤード(47g/m2)を有する点接合軟構造のタイベック(Tyvek)(登録商標)フラッシュ紡糸ポリエチレン網状フィラメントのフィルム−フィブリルシート1450BS型を用いた。この表面シートは表2に示す特性を有する。
比較例3および実施例4から6では水切り材料用の基材として積層シートを用いた。その積層体用の出発材料として坪量1.44オンス/平方ヤード(49g/m2)を有する圧密不織タイベック(Tyvek)(登録商標)フラッシュ紡糸ポリエチレン網状フィラメントのフィルム−フィブリルシート1041BS型を用いた。このタイベック(Tyvek)(登録商標)シートを、3.5g/10分のメルトフローレートを有する線状低密度ポリエチレン(LLDPE)45%、3.5g/10分のメルトフローレートを有する低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)50%(両方ともエクイスター・ケミカルズ・LP(テキサス州ヒューストン)(Equistar Chemicals LP(Houston,Texas))から得られる)、カーボンブラックマスターバッチ4%およびUV添加剤マスターバッチ1%(アンパシート(ニューヨーク州タリータウン)(Ampacet(Tarrytown,NY)から得られる)よりなる1.8ミルブラックフィルムで真空コーティングした。この積層シートの特性を表3に示す。この積層体の各試料(実施例3〜6)を、マイクレックス・コーポレーション(マサチューセッツ州ウォルポール)(Micrex Corporation(Walpole,MA))によって製造されたマイクレックス・マイクロクレーパー(Micrex Microcreper)装置を用いて、表4による圧縮比の機械設定でクレープ加工した。
Claims (13)
- 少なくとも55%の圧縮比を有する微小クレープ加工表面シートと、表面シートに接合された感圧接着剤層とを含んでなる水切りシステムであって、4%から50%の間の回復を有する水切りシステム。
- 水切りシステムが、10N/cm以下の使用応力が掛けられたとき少なくとも150%まで伸長する請求項1に記載の水切りシステム。
- 圧縮比が60%から85%の間にある請求項1に記載の水切りシステム。
- 回復が35%未満である請求項1に記載の水切りシステム。
- 表面シートが、網状フィラメントのフィルム−フィブリルシートと、スパンボンドポリエチレンと、スパンボンドポリプロピレンと、スパンボンドポリ(エチレンテレフタレート)と、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレンおよびポリ(エチレンテレフタレート)よりなる群から選択されるポリマーのスパン結合による組合せと、よりなる群から選択される不織布を含んでなる請求項1に記載の水切りシステム。
- 表面シートが、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリ(エチレンテレフタレート)およびナイロンよりなる群から選択されるフィルムを含んでなる請求項1に記載の水切りシステム。
- 表面シートがフィルムと不織布の積層体を含んでなる請求項1に記載の水切りシステム。
- 表面シートが、フィルムおよびラッカーよりなる群から選択される材料で被覆された不織布を含んでなる請求項1に記載の水切りシステム。
- 表面シートが塗装紙を含んでなる請求項1に記載の水切りシステム。
- 接着剤層が、合成ブチルゴム、ビチューメン/ゴムおよびビチューメン/ホットメルト接着剤よりなる群から選択される請求項1に記載の水切りシステム。
- 表面シートが、少なくとも10インチ(25.4cm)の水の静水頭を有する請求項1に記載の水切りシステム。
- 50%を超える低伸長回復を有する請求項1に記載の水切りシステム。
- 1インチ−ポンド(11.3N−cm)以下の曲げ剛性を有する請求項1に記載の水切りシステム。
