Claims (8)
- 磁石粉末の成形体を作製する工程(A)と、
ワイヤソーを用いて前記成形体を複数の板状部分に切断加工し、前記複数の板状部分が切断面に垂直な方向に配列された状態を形成する工程(B)と、
前記成形体の板状部分を焼結する工程(C)と、
を包含する焼結磁石の製造方法であって、
前記工程(B)は、前記複数の板状部分の少なくとも1つの位置を前記切断面に平行な方向にずらす工程(b)を含んでおり、
前記工程(b)は、前記複数の板状部分の位置を交互に反対方向にシフトさせる工程を含んでいる、焼結磁石の製造方法。 - 前記工程(b)は、前記複数の板状部分の各々の厚さに対応した幅を有する凸部で個々の板状部分を交互に反対方向に押圧する工程を含んでいる、請求項1に記載の焼結磁石の製造方法。
- 前記工程(b)は、前記凸部で個々の板状部分を交互に反対方向に押圧するとき、前記板状部分の切断面を摩擦によって平滑化する工程を含んでいる、請求項2に記載の焼結磁石の製造方法。
- 前記工程(B)と前記工程(C)との間において、前記複数の板状部分が切断面を介して鉛直方向に積層された状態となるように前記板状部分の向きを回転させる工程(D)を更に含む請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の焼結磁石の製造方法。
- 前記ワイヤソーは、0.05mm以上3.0mm以下の外径を有するワイヤと、前記ワイヤに固定された砥粒とを有している請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の焼結磁石の製造方法。
- 前記磁石粉末は、R−T−B系希土類合金(Rは希土類元素およびイットリウムからなる群から選択された少なくとも1種の元素、Tは鉄を必ず含む遷移金属元素、Bはホウ素である)の粉末である請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の焼結磁石の製造方法。
- 磁石粉末の成形体を複数の板状部分に切断加工するワイヤと、
前記複数の板状部分が切断面に垂直な方向に配列された状態で前記複数の板状部分の少なくとも1つの位置を前記切断面に平行な方向にシフトさせる押圧部材と、
を備え、
前記押圧部材は前記複数の板状部分を把持する1対の押圧部を有しており、
各押圧部は、前記複数の板状部分を1つ置きに押圧するように周期的に配列された複数の突出部を有しており、一方の押圧部の突出部の位置は他方の押圧部の突出部の位置に対して配列の2分の1周期だけシフトしている、ワイヤソー装置。 - 前記押圧部材を駆動する駆動部を備え、
前記駆動部は、前記1対の押圧部を前記切断面に平行な方向に駆動し、前記複数の板状部分を把持し、前記複数の板状部分の位置を交互にシフトさせた後、前記複数の板状部分の各切断面が水平となるよう前記複数の板状部分を全体として回転させる、請求項7に記載のワイヤソー装置。
