Claims (7)
- 細長い工具電極を用いた工作物の放電材料加工法であって、工具ヘッド内の電極送り駆動機構によって前記工具電極を、前記工具電極の加工電極面を形成する自由端部部分が間隔をあけて工作物に対向位置し且つ前記自由端部部分と工作物との間で、加工液によって洗われる作業ギャップが制限されるように保持し、放電加工式で工作物の材料を除去するために、前記工具電極と工作物との間に侵食加工電流を印加する形式のものにおいて、
前記工具電極を、工具ヘッドと自由端部部分との間で工具電極ガイドに手繰り込ませ、前記工具電極の自由端部部分を、前記工具電極ガイドから軸方向に運動可能に突出させ、前記工具電極を、工具ヘッドと自由端部部分との間で、侵食加工電流の給電された前記工具電極の、電極軸線に対して横方向の変位を生ぜしめる磁界作用に晒し、前記工具電極ガイドにおいて前記工具電極を作業ギャップの最適化のために横方向に変位させて、自由端部部分の軸方向運動に変換することを特徴とする、工作物の放電材料加工法。 - 工具ヘッド内の電極送り駆動機構を用いて作業ギャップの粗調整を生ぜしめ且つ前記工具電極の横方向の変位によって作業ギャップの微調整を生ぜしめる、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記工具電極を、電極送り駆動機構によって保持し且つ前記工具電極ガイドに手繰り込ませる、請求項1記載の方法。
- 工作物の放電材料加工装置であって、細長い弾性変形可能な工具電極及び前記工具電極を保持するための工具ヘッドが設けられており、前記工具ヘッドにより、前記工具電極の加工電極面を形成する自由端部部分が、間隔をあけて工作物に対向位置させられ且つ加工液によって洗われる作業ギャップが制限されるようになっており、更に、工作物の放電加工式の材料除去の目的で、前記工具電極と工作物との間に侵食加工電流を印加するための電流供給装置が設けられている形式のものにおいて、
侵食プロセスにおいて最適な作業ギャップを維持するために、侵食加工電流を、前記工具電極の自由端部部分の軸方向運動に直接に変換するための電磁式の変換器が設けられており、該電磁式の変換器が、工具ヘッドと自由端部部分との間で、侵食加工電流の給電された前記工具電極を、電極軸線に対して横方向に変位させる磁界作用に晒すことを特徴とする、工作物の放電材料加工装置。 - 前記電磁式の変換器が、極間に前記工具電極の位置する磁石と、電極ガイドとを有している、請求項4記載の装置。
- 前記電極ガイドが、工具ヘッドと工作物との間で延びる管であり、中央に楕円形の中空室を有する側と、工作物に面して滑り通路を有する側とにそれぞれ空隙が設けられている、請求項4又は5記載の装置。
- 前記電極ガイドの楕円形の中空室の領域に磁石の極が収納されている、請求項4又は5記載の装置。
