Claims (13)
- 正極および負極を備える電極体と、
前記電極体を収容する有底の電池ケースと、
前記電池ケースと前記電極体の正負極の何れか一方とを接続する集電板と
を備え、
前記集電板の一部と前記電池ケースの底部とは、互いに溶接により固定されており、
前記溶接された部分からなる溶接部の周辺には、弾性材から構成されるシール部材が該溶接部の周りを囲うように配置され該シール部材によって該溶接部を前記電極体の周辺から空間的に隔離するシールド構造が形成されていることを特徴とする、電池。 - 前記シール部材は、前記集電板と前記電池ケースとの隙間に配置されている、請求項1に記載の電池。
- 前記集電板は、前記電池ケースの底部に溶接固定される部位であって前記電池ケースの側に突出した突出部を有しており、
前記シール部材は、前記突出部の周りを囲むように配置されている、請求項2に記載の電池。 - 前記シール部材は、前記集電板と前記電池ケースとの隙間に圧縮された状態で配置されている、請求項2または3に記載の電池。
- 前記集電板は、前記シール部材と接する平坦部を有しており、当該平坦部は、前記電池ケースの底部と略平行となるように配置されている、請求項2から4の何れか一つに記載の電池。
- 前記集電板の一部と前記電池ケースの底部とは、抵抗溶接、レーザ溶接、および電子ビーム溶接のうちの何れかによって溶接されている、請求項1から5の何れか一つに記載の電池。
- 正極および負極を備える電極体と、前記電極体を収容する有底の電池ケースと、前記電池ケースと前記電極体の正負極の何れか一方とを接続する集電板とを備え、前記集電板の一部と電池ケースの底部とが互いに溶接により固定されてなる溶接部を有する電池の製造方法であって、
前記溶接を行う前に、前記溶接部が形成される部分の周辺において、弾性材から構成されるシール部材を該溶接部が形成される部分の周りを囲うように配置し、該シール部材によって該溶接部が形成される部分を前記電極体の周辺から空間的に隔離するシールド構造を形成することを特徴とする、電池の製造方法。 - 前記集電板と前記電池ケースとの隙間に、前記シール部材を配置することを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の製造方法。
- 前記集電板は、前記電池ケースの底部に溶接固定される部位であって前記電池ケースの側に突出した突出部を有しており、
前記溶接を行う前に、前記シール部材により前記突出部の周りを囲むことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の製造方法。 - 前記溶接を行う前に、前記シール部材を前記集電板と前記電池ケースとの隙間に圧縮された状態で配置することを特徴とする、請求項8または9に記載の製造方法。
- 前記集電板は、前記シール部材と接する平坦部を有しており、
前記溶接の際に、前記平坦部が前記電池ケースの底部と略平行となるように前記集電板を電池ケース内の所定位置に配置することを特徴とする、請求項8から10の何れか一つに記載の製造方法。 - 前記シールド構造を形成した後、該シールド構造に囲まれている前記集電板の一部と前記電池ケースの底部とを、抵抗溶接、レーザ溶接、および電子ビーム溶接のうちの何れかによって溶接することにより前記溶接部を形成することを特徴とする、請求項7から11の何れか一つに記載の製造方法。
- 請求項1から6の何れか一つに記載の電池又は請求項7から12の何れか一つに記載の製造方法により製造された電池を備えた車両。
