Description
本発明は特に、フッ素化炭化水素と酸素化溶媒とを含む新規な組成物に関するものである。
本発明の新規組成物は特にHCFC141b(ハイドロクロロフルオロカーボンl4lb)の溶媒の全ての応用作業、特に、固体表面の処理、例えば洗浄、クリーニング、脱脂、フラックス除去(defluxing)または固体表面の乾燥で使用できる。
その用途としては大型金属製品の脱脂、大量生産される精密機械の洗浄、その他の各種工業、例えば航空宇宙産業、電気、エレクトロニクス産業、機械製造業、金細工、刃物製造業、時計製造、医学分野での人工器官等の製造業を挙げることができる。さらに、印刷回路の製造分野で半田接合の品質を良くするために基材から残留物(はんだフラックスとして知られている)を除去するのにも使用される。この操作は一般に「フラックス除去操作」(defluxing)とよばれている。
しかも、この組成物はオゾン層を破壊する作用がない。
従って、この組成物はHCFC141を溶媒として使用する分野でHCFC141の完全に満足しえる代替品として使用できる。
本発明組成物は、1〜88%のベースフッ素化物と、5〜94%のDAAと、5〜70%のDMSOおよび/または第二級ブタノールとから成るのが好ましい。
DMSOまたは第二級ブタノールの含有量は最高でもDAAの含有量に等しくするのが有利である。
好ましい本発明組成物は5〜80%のベースフッ素化物と、15〜85%のDAAと、5〜50%のDMSOおよび/または第二級ブタノールから成る。
上記化合物の大部分は市販のものである。
好ましいベースフッ素化物はHFC 365 mfcとHFC 4310 meeとの混合物である。この混合物は5〜95%のHFC 365 mfcと、5〜95%のHFC 4310 meeとから成るのが好ましい。この混合物は必要に応じてHFC 227eaを含むことができる。好ましい混合物は80%のHFC 365 mfcと20%のHFC4310 meeとから成る。他の好ましい混合物は50%のHFC 365 mfcと50%のHFC 4310 meeとから成る。
特に有利な本発明組成物は、50%のベースフッ素化物と、40%のDAAと、10%のDMSOのとから成る。他の有利な組成物は、30%のベースフッ素化物と、23.33%のDAAと、23.33%の第二級ブタノールと、23.33%のDMSOとから成る。
本発明組成物はHCFC141bをベースにした従来の組成物で使用されていたものと同じ用途に同じ使用方法で使用できる。すなわち、本発明組成物は固体表面の処理、例えば洗浄、クリーニング、脱脂、固体表面の乾燥または印刷回路のフラックス除去での使用に適している。これらの用途では一般にHCFC141bの他に、重質溶媒、例えば石油留分または重質グリコールエーテルをベースにした溶媒混合物またはベースフッ素化物以外の溶媒混合物と、界面活性剤を含む水溶性界面活性剤とが一緒に使用される。
洗浄タンク(2)から出た沸騰したベースフッ素化物の蒸気(3)は冷却コイル(4)で冷却され、樋(5)で回収され、濯ぎタンク(8)へ再循環される。液相および蒸気相の温度は温度計(9)および(10)で制御できる。セパレータ(7)の役目は外気の水蒸気が凝縮して生じる水を分離することにある。
純粋なベースフッ素化物から成る濯ぎ溶液(8)は被洗浄物表面上に随伴される脂肪物質によって徐々に汚染される。随伴される汚染が著しい場合には第2の濯ぎタンクを用いることができる。機械の冷却帯域(6)で乾燥を行う前に、蒸気相のベースフッ素化物から成る帯域(3)で追加の濯ぎを行うこともできる。
実施例1
本発明の各種組成物の脱脂効率を評価するために、8cm2の表面積を有するステンレス鋼板を使用した。各鋼板の表面に一滴の鉱油を塗布し、それを広げて被膜を作った。各鋼板はテストすべき組成物を50ml収容したビーカー中に外界温度で5分間浸した。その後、鋼板をビーカーから取出し、水切りし、純粋なベースフッ素化物50mlを収容した第2ビーカー中に外界温度で2分間浸した。これら2つの操作の間、攪拌は全くしなかった。次に、ベースフッ素化物が蒸発するまで鋼板を外界温度で2、3秒間乾燥した。
脱脂効率は、鉱油が除去された鋼板表面の比率を目視して評価した。この評価に使用した記号は[表1]に示してある。
1) 美容用ワセリンオイル
2) 水溶性オイルSHRADER
3) モービルオイルCUTREX 734
各種組成物で得られた結果を[表2]にまとめて示す。
この実施例では添付図面に示した脱脂機械を用いた。
洗浄タンク(2)に実施例1の番号L1の脱脂組成物を5リットル充填し、この洗浄タンクをベースフッ素化物の沸点(すなわち40℃)に加熱した。濯ぎタンク(8)には80%のHFC365mfcと、20%のHFC4310meeとからなる同じ純粋なベースフッ素化物を5リットル充填した。濯ぎタンク(8)の温度は40℃にした。
試験片は航空宇宙産業で使用される多数の孔と通路を有する約10x15x3cmの寸法を有する金メッキされた軽量金属部品で、孔および通路の全体にオイルが付着している。使用したオイルはCASTROL のVariotcut D734(約1g)である。
試験片を洗浄タンク(2)中に3分間浸した後、濯ぎタンク(8)中に1分間浸した。第2回目の濯ぎを蒸気相(3)中で10秒間行い、上記機械(6)の冷却帯域中で10秒間乾燥させた。
上記条件で試験片は完全に脱脂された。
実施例2と同じ操作を行ったが、洗浄タンク(2)に80%のHFC365 mfcと、20%のHFC 4310 meeとからなる純粋なベースフッ素化物を充填した。濯ぎタンク(8)も同じ。
しかし、この場合には洗浄、濯ぎ、乾燥後の試験片上にオイルの痕跡が残った。
実施例2の操作を繰返したが、洗浄タンク(2)には[表3]の脱脂組成物に変えた。濯ぎタンク(8)には80%のHFC365 mfcと20%のHFC 4310 meeとからなる純粋なベースフッ素化物を充填した。
本発明の2つの組成物のフラックス除去効率を評価するために、図1に示す洗浄機械を用いた(超音波振動装置Ultrason Annemasseを備え、シリポライト(siliporite)を充填した分離器(7)とを有する)。2つのタンク(2)および(8)は20リットルの容量を有する。
洗浄タンク(2)にはフラックス除去組成物を充填し、温度を沸点すなわち67℃にした。濯ぎタンク(8)にはベースフッ素化物のみを充填した。濯ぎタンクの温度はベースフッ素化物の沸点すなわち40℃にした。
被洗浄物(電子回路板)を洗浄タンク(2)中に約3〜5分間浸したのち、濯ぎタンクに2分間浸した。その後、冷却大域(6)で直接乾燥した。
テストした組成物M4とM5は[表4]に示してある。
Claims (7)
- 5〜80重量%のハイドロフルオロカーボン(HFC)およびハイドロフルオロエーテル(HFE)の中から選択されるベースフッ素化物と、15〜85重量%のジアセトンアルコール(DAA)と、5〜50重量%のジメチルスルホキシド(DMSO)および/または第二級ブタノールとから成る洗浄用組成物。
- ハイドロフルオロカーボン(HFC)が、1,1,1,3,3-ペンタフルオロブタン(HFC 365 mfc)、l,1,1,2,3,4,4,5,5,5-デカフルオロペンタン(HFC 4310 mee)、1,1,l,2-テトラフルオロエタン(HFC 134a)、ペンタフルオロ-エタン(HFC 125)、l,1,1-トリフルオロエタン(HFC 143a)、ジフルオロメタン(HFC 32)、1,1-ジフルオロエタン(HFC 152a)、l-フルオロエタン(HFC 161)、1,1,1,2,3,3,3-ヘプタフルオロプロパン(HFC 227ea)、1,1,l,3,3-ペンタフルオロプロパン(HFC 245fa)、オクタフルオロプロパン(HFC 218)、(ペルフルオロブチル)エチレン(C4H9CH=CH2)、1,1,2,2,3,4,5-ヘプタフルオロシクロペンタン(C5H3F7)、ペルフルオロヘキシルエチレン(C6F13CHCH2)、トリデカフルオロヘキサン(C6F13H)およびペルフルオロ(メチルモルホリン)(PF 5052)からなる群の中から選択される請求項1に記載の洗浄用組成物。
- ベースフッ素化物が1,1,1,3,3-ペンタフルオロブタン(HFC 365 mfc)とl,1,1,2,3,4,4,5,5,5-デカフルオロペンタン(HFC 4310 mee)との混合物から成る請求項1または2に記載の洗浄用組成物。
- 上記混合物が1,1,1,2,3,3,3-ヘプタフルオロプロパン(HFC 227ea)をさらに含む請求項3に記載の洗浄用組成物。
- ハイドロフルオロエーテル(HFE)が、メチルヘプタフルオロプロピルエーテル(C3F7OCH3)、メチルノナフルオロブチルエーテル(C4F9OCH3)、エチルノナフルオロブチルエーテル(C4F90C2H5)およびペルフルオロピラン(C5F10O)からなる群の中から選択される請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の洗浄用組成物。
- 固体表面を先ず最初に洗浄用組成物を充填した洗浄タンク(2)中に浸し、次いで、洗浄タンク(2)に隣接した濯ぎ溶液を充填した濯ぎタンク(8)中に浸して固体表面を洗浄する方法において、
上記洗浄タンク(2)に充填する洗浄用組成物が請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の洗浄用組成物であり、上記濯ぎタンク(8)に充填される濯ぎ溶液がハイドロフルオロカーボンおよびハイドロフルオロエーテルの中から選択されるベースフッ素化物であることを特徴とする方法。 - 濯ぎタンク(8)に充填される上記ベースフッ素化物が洗浄タンク(2)に存在する上記ベースフッ素化物と異なるベースフッ素化物である請求項6に記載の方法。
