Description
250mm×250mm×100mmの凸形状を有する木型の成形面(外面)に網孔の大きさ1.8mm×1.8mmの上下交差のないHDPE樹脂網(トリカル〈登録商標〉網N−2:タキロン株式会社製)を接着剤で固定し、得られた木型を砂型作製用枠体内に収めてその木型を埋め込むように砂型作製用枠体内に鋳砂(三河珪砂特7号70メッシュ:三河珪砂株式会社製)を充填し、その鋳砂を炭酸ガス封入により一体化させて砂型を製作し、その砂型を組み合わせた成形空間内に溶融アルミニウムを流し込み、アルミニウムからなる厚み10mmの鋳物を作製した。該鋳物の凹凸模様を有する成形面に径0.8mmの蒸気孔を25mmピッチでドリルにより開けて凸型の成形用金型を製作した。このようにして得た凸型の成形用金型を発泡成形機のコア金型として組み込んだ。

両面加熱:1.0MPa
水冷:20s
放冷:100s
実施例1で示した木型の成形面に網孔の大きさ1.8mm×1.8mmのHDPE樹脂製で上下交差する網を接着剤で固定し、得られた木型を砂型製作用枠体内に収めてその木型を埋め込むように砂型作製用枠体内に鋳砂(三河珪砂特7号70メッシュ:三河珪砂株式会社製)を充填し、その鋳砂を炭酸ガス封入により一体化させて砂型を製作したが、網と木型の間隙部に鋳物砂が入り込み木型の抜き取り時に砂型が崩れ、砂型に網から凹凸模様を転写することができなかった。
実施例1で示した木型の成形面に網孔の大きさ1.8mm×1.8mmのパンチングメタルを接着剤で固定しようとしたが、パンチングメタルは硬度が高く、木型の曲面形状等に上手く沿わず砂型が作製できなかった。
Claims (4)
- 熱可塑性樹脂からなる発泡成形体を成形するための成形用金型を製造する方法であって、原型の成形面の全面又は一部に網状部材を固定し、該原型を用いてその成形面に凹凸模様を有する砂型を作製し、更に、前記砂型を用いてその成形面に凹凸模様を有する成形用金型を鋳造する成形用金型の製造方法において、
前記網状部材として、多数の網孔を有する網目状の可撓性合成樹脂シートを使用することを特徴とする成形用金型の製造方法。 - 前記シートはその網目を構成する各線部が該シートの一方の面において平坦状に形成されたものであり、該シートを前記一方の面が内側となるように原型に固定させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の成形用金型の製造方法。
- 前記シートはその網目を構成する各線部が該シートの他方の面において凹凸状に形成されたものであり、該シートを前記一方の面が内側となるように原型に固定されることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の成形用金型の製造方法。
- 前記シートの他方の面において、各線部は交差部を隆起して凸とし、交差部間を凹としたことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の成形用金型の製造方法。
