Claims (2)
- 内燃機関の吸気バルブを開閉駆動する吸気用従動軸と、該吸気用従動軸と相対回転変位することにより該吸気バルブの開閉タイミングの調整が可能な吸気用回転体と、該内燃機関の排気バルブを開閉駆動する排気用従動軸と、該排気用従動軸と相対回転変位することにより該排気バルブの開閉タイミングの調整が可能な排気用回転体と、該内燃機関の駆動軸から該吸気用回転体及び該排気用回転体に駆動力を伝達する駆動力伝達手段と、を備えるバルブタイミング調整装置であって、
前記駆動力伝達手段は、前記吸気用回転体と前記排気用回転体のうち一方を前記駆動軸と同じ回転方向に駆動する順回転駆動手段と、反転手段を介して他方を該駆動軸と逆の回転方向に駆動する逆回転駆動手段と、からなり、
前記順回転駆動手段は、前記駆動軸に設けられた駆動スプロケットと、前記吸気用回転体と前記排気用回転体のうち一方に設けられた順回転用スプロケットと、該駆動スプロケットと該順回転用スプロケットとを繋いで輪転する順回転用チェーンとからなり、前記逆回転駆動手段は、該駆動スプロケットに噛合するアイドラギヤと、前記他方に設けられた逆回転用スプロケットと、該アイドラギヤと該逆回転用スプロケットとを繋いで輪転する逆回転用チェーンとからなることを特徴とするバルブタイミング調整装置。 - 内燃機関の吸気バルブを開閉駆動する吸気用従動軸と、該吸気用従動軸と相対回転変位することにより該吸気バルブの開閉タイミングの調整が可能な吸気用回転体と、該内燃機関の排気バルブを開閉駆動する排気用従動軸と、該排気用従動軸と相対回転変位することにより該排気バルブの開閉タイミングの調整が可能な排気用回転体と、該内燃機関の駆動軸から該吸気用回転体及び該排気用回転体に駆動力を伝達する駆動力伝達手段と、を備えるバルブタイミング調整装置であって、
前記駆動力伝達手段は、前記吸気用回転体と前記排気用回転体のうち一方を前記駆動軸と同じ回転方向に駆動する順回転駆動手段と、反転手段を介して他方を該駆動軸と逆の回転方向に駆動する逆回転駆動手段と、からなり、
前記順回転駆動手段は、前記駆動軸に設けられた駆動スプロケットと、前記吸気用回転体と前記排気用回転体のうち一方に設けられた順回転用スプロケットと、該駆動スプロケットと該順回転用スプロケットとを繋いで輪転する順回転用チェーンとからなり、前記逆回転駆動手段は、該順回転用チェーンに外接して噛合するアイドラスプロケットと、前記他方に設けられた逆回転用スプロケットと、該アイドラスプロケットと該逆回転用スプロケットとを繋いで輪転する逆回転用チェーンとからなることを特徴とするバルブタイミング調整装置。
