Description
Claims (11)
- 第1基板と、該第1基板に対向する第2基板と、前記第1基板と前記第2基板の間に配置された液晶とを有し、前記第1基板には配線及び反射層が形成されてなり、該反射層によって構成される反射表示領域と、前記反射層を有しない透過表示領域とを備えた複数の画素が配列されてなる液晶装置において、
隣接する前記画素の間に設けられた画素間領域には、前記反射表示領域に隣接する反射隣接範囲と、前記透過表示領域に隣接する透過隣接範囲とが含まれ、
前記配線は、前記反射表示領域で前記反射層と前記第1基板の間を通過するとともに前記透過隣接範囲を通過し、
前記反射隣接範囲には前記第1基板上に第1遮光層が形成されていることを特徴とする液晶装置。 - 前記第1遮光層は、前記反射表示領域で前記反射層と前記第1基板の間に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶装置。
- 前記透過隣接範囲には前記第2基板上に第2遮光層が配置されることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の液晶装置。
- 前記配線と前記反射層の間には層間絶縁膜が配置され、
該層間絶縁膜は、前記反射表示領域には形成され、前記透過表示領域には形成されていないことを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の液晶装置。 - 前記配線と前記反射層の間には層間絶縁膜が配置され、
該層間絶縁膜は、前記反射表示領域に形成されるとともに、前記透過表示領域に前記反射表示領域より薄く形成されてなることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の液晶装置。 - 前記反射隣接範囲には、隣接する二つの前記画素のそれぞれの前記反射表示領域によって挟まれた反射境界部が含まれ、該反射境界部に前記第1遮光層が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載の液晶装置。
- 前記透過隣接範囲には、隣接する二つの前記画素のそれぞれの前記透過表示領域によって挟まれた透過境界部が含まれ、該透過境界部に前記配線が配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至3又は6のいずれか一項に記載の液晶装置。
- 前記画素内の前記反射表示領域と前記透過表示領域の境界線は前記配線の延長方向と交差することを特徴とする請求項1乃至7のいずれか一項に記載の液晶装置。
- 第1基板と、該第1基板に対向する第2基板と、前記第1基板と前記第2基板の間に配置された液晶とを有し、前記第1基板には、配線と、該配線に電気的に接続されてなるスイッチング素子と、絶縁層と、該絶縁層を介して前記配線及びスイッチング素子の上層に配置された反射層とが形成されてなり、該反射層によって構成される反射表示領域と、前記反射層を有しない透過表示領域とを備えた複数の画素が配列されてなる液晶装置において、
隣接する前記画素の間に設けられた画素間領域には、前記反射表示領域に隣接する反射隣接範囲と、前記透過表示領域に隣接する透過隣接範囲とが含まれ、
前記配線は、前記反射表示領域で前記反射層と前記第1基板の間を通過するとともに前記透過隣接範囲を通過し、
前記反射隣接範囲には前記第1基板上に第1遮光層が形成されていることを特徴とする液晶装置。 - 前記第1遮光層は前記配線又は前記スイッチング素子の少なくとも一つの構成層と同材質で形成され、
前記配線は、前記第1遮光層を迂回するように、前記反射表示領域と前記透過表示領域の境界近傍で蛇行して延びることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の液晶装置。 - 請求項1乃至10のいずれか一項に記載の液晶装置を搭載したことを特徴とする電子機器。
