Claims (10)
- 反応スペースをもつ改質器(214)と、燃料/空気混合気を前記反応スペースに供給するためのノズル(11)と、燃料(216)を前記ノズルに供給するための少なくとも1つの供給配管(24)と、空気を前記ノズルに供給するための少なくとも1つの入口経路(18)とを含む、燃料(216)および空気(218)を反応させて改質ガス(220)にするシステムにおいて、
前記ノズル(11)は、渦流室(19,22)を含み、前記渦流室へ燃料(216)を供給するための前記少なくとも1つの供給配管(24)は、ほぼ軸方向および中心方向へ前記渦流室に通じ、かつ、前記少なくとも1つの入口経路(18)は、ほぼ接線方向へ前記渦流室に通じ、前記渦流室からノズル出口(23)が出ており、
前記渦流室(19、22)は、その中に気体媒体用の前記入口経路(18)が通じる先が狭くなる螺旋経路(19)と、前記ノズル出口(23)へ向かう方向へ軸方向で前記渦流室に近接するギャップ・スペース(22)とを含み、前記ギャップ・スペースへ燃料(216)を供給するための供給配管路(24)が通じており、前記ギャップ・スペースからノズル出口(23)が出ることを特徴とするシステム。 - 前記螺旋経路(19)の一方の端壁(内壁または外壁)は、円筒形形状を有し、他方の端壁は、螺旋形状を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 液体媒体用の入口経路(26)は、前記ノズル出口(23)に対して同軸に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のシステム。
- 液体媒体は、前記渦流室(19、22)の中心長手方向軸(14)と軸合わせされた内径(25、26)を通って、前記ギャップ・スペースに対して中心に送り込まれ、前記内径(25、26)に直接対向する前記ギャップ・スペース(22)の側から、前記ノズル出口(23)を形成する別の内径を通って放出されることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記ノズル出口(23)は、前記渦流室(19、22)の前記ギャップ・スペース(22)のエンド・プレート(21)内のノズル内径によって画定されることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記渦流室(19、22)の前記ギャップ・スペース(22)側の前記ノズル出口(23)のエッジは、丸くされ、面取りされ、または鋭角にされることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のシステム。
- 前記ノズル出口(23)の軸の長さが、0.050mmから1mmであることを特徴とする請求項4または5に記載のシステム。
- 前記ノズル(11)は、予熱プラグを保持する手段を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記予熱プラグを保持する手段は、前記ノズル軸に対してある角度をなして延びる内径として実現されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 前記ノズル出口(23)の軸の長さが、0.1mmから0.5mmであることを特徴とする請求項4または5に記載のシステム。
