Claims (6)
- アルミニウム,マグネシウム、又はチタンを主成分とする合金からなる基材と、前記基材上に設けられ、アルミニウムと炭素とを含有した中間層を有し、前記中間層上にダイヤモンドライクカーボン層を有する摺動部材であって、
前記中間層に含有するアルミニウムの含有量が、前記基材から前記ダイヤモンドライクカーボン層に向かうにつれて徐々に減少し、前記中間層に含有する炭素の含有量が、前記基材から前記ダイヤモンドライクカーボン層に向かうにつれて徐々に増加する、と共に、アルミニウムと炭素とが、モル比で4:3に結合したAl4C3が、前記中間層の中央より前記基材側に形成され、
前記中間層及びダイヤモンドライクカーボン層がUBMS法により形成され、前記中間層に含有する炭素の含有量が、前記基材から前記ダイヤモンドライクカーボン層に向かうにつれて徐々に増加し、その増加率が、前記ダイヤモンドライクカーボン層側の方が前記基材側の方より緩やかであることを特徴とする摺動部材。 - 請求項1に記載された摺動部材であって、前記基材が、アルミニウムと1.0〜2.0at%銅との合金であり、前記中間層は銅を含有する層であることを特徴とする摺動部材。
- 請求項1に記載された摺動部材であって、前記基材がアルミニウム合金であり、前記中間層の成膜に基材と同成分のアルミニウム合金を用いたことを特徴とする摺動部材。
- 請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載された摺動部材であって、
前記中間層に含有するアルミニウムの含有量が、前記基材から前記ダイヤモンドライクカーボン層に向かうにつれて徐々に減少し、その減少率が、前記ダイヤモンドライクカーボン層側の方が前記基材側の方より緩やかであることを特徴とする摺動部材。 - 請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載された摺動部材であって、
前記ダイヤモンドライクカーボン層には、アルミニウムが0.5〜4.5at%含有されていることを特徴とする摺動部材。 - 請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載された摺動部材であって、
前記基材と前記中間層との境界部に、炭素を含まないアルミニウム又はアルミニウムを主成分とする合金層を形成したことを特徴とする摺動部材。
