Description
生命維持システムを持続し、或いは様々な種類の身体を衰弱させる病気、特に肺の病気の症状を緩和するために、酸素又は酸素濃縮空気を患者に供給する様々な型式の機器が知られている。過去には、加圧シリンダから供給される純酸素又は酸素濃縮気体が用いられていた。しかしながら、そのようなシリンダは、扱いにくく、補充又は取替えが必要となるまでの寿命が比較的短い。圧力揺動吸着の原理を用いている酸素濃縮機は、これらの欠陥を克服するように設計された。
従って、当該技術で必要なものは、低騒音の小型で携帯可能な酸素濃縮機である。
更に、当該技術において必要なのは、整備と修理をやり易くするため構成要素に容易に到達できる酸素濃縮機である。
同じ参照番号は、幾つかの図面に亘って同じ部品を示している。好適な実施形態を図示し説明しているが、如何なる意味でも本発明の範囲を限定するものではない旨理解されたい。
供給流れが吸着体30、32の入口30a、32aに並流方向に交互に入ると、各吸着体は、供給流れを所望の濃度の製品気体に分留する。窒素を周囲の空気から分離する床に使用される吸着材は、合成ゼオライトか、同等の特性を有する他の既知の吸着材である。
Claims (6)
- 周囲の空気のような気体混合物から高濃度の酸素又は他の気体を生成する作動構成要素を有する圧力揺動吸着装置において、
前記装置は、前記作動構成要素を収容する外側ハウジングを有し、
前記作動構成要素は、ブロワーファンと、吸気共鳴器と、気体圧縮器と、作動弁と、気体濃縮物を生成するための吸着体と、排気マフラーとを備え、
更に前記ハウジング内に配置され少なくともブロワーファン,吸気共鳴器、気体圧縮器及び排気マフラーを収容して実質的に覆う側面、上面及び底面壁を有する一体的に取り外し可能な構成要素モジュールを備え、
ブロワーファンは前記気体混合物をハウジングから前記モジュール内へ導くための開口を画定するモジュール内のモジュール壁のうちの1つの壁上に取り付けられ、気体圧縮機はブロワーファンとは反対側の底面壁に取り付けられ、吸気共鳴器はモジュール内に取り込まれた気体混合物の一部を受け取るためにブロワーファンに近接配置され、取り込まれた気体混合物の残りは方向付けられてモジュール内の構成要素を冷却し、モジュール壁の1つは前記吸気共鳴器に導かれなかった気体混合物の一部を前記モジュールから排気しそして前記ハウジングへ戻すための開口を画定し、
更に前記モジュールに収容された構成要素から放出される音と振動を実質的に減衰させるための前記モジュール壁上の音及び振動手段と、
モジュールと収納されている構成要素とを吸着体から一体ユニットとして取り外し可能に分離し、ハウジングから取り外せるようにする連結具とを備えている、圧力揺動吸着装置。 - 前記ブロワーファンはファン組立パネルに取り付けられており、更に、前記音及び振動手段は前記ブロワーファンと前記ファン組立パネルの間に振動吸収手段を備えている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記音及び振動手段は、少なくとも上面、前面及び側面の何れかの表面を覆う音吸収材料の少なくとも1つの材料層を備えている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 上面壁はモジュール内へ気体混合物を導くための開口を画定する壁であり、ブロワーファンは前壁に対して鋭角に設置されたファン組立パネルに固定されている、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 背面壁は冷却気体混合物をモジュールから排気するための開口を画定する壁である、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 各弁はモジュール壁の1つに取り付けられると共に、一体ユニットの一部としてモジュールと共に取り外し可能である、請求項1に記載の装置。
