Description
動停止始動機能の設定が許可されるので、フードを開放してメンテナンス作業を行っているときに自動停止始動機能の設定が一旦禁止されると、フードの開放スイッチに作業者の身体の一部や工具などが誤って触れてフードが閉塞されたものと誤認識しても、これに加えて所定の車両走行条件が満たされない限り、自動停止始動機能の設定が許可されることがない。これにより、フードを開放してメンテナンス作業を行っているときに内燃機関の運転が自動的に停止したり、再始動したりすることが確実に防止され、自動停止始動機能を備えた車両で有るとの認識の有無にかかわらずフード開放状態でのメンテナンス作業を効率よく行うことが可能となる。

Claims (2)
- 所定条件に基づいて内燃機関の運転を自動的に停止または始動させるように制御する内燃機関の制御装置であって、
車両が停車しているときに内燃機関の運転を自動的に停止または始動させる自動停止始動機能が設定されるようになっており、
内燃機関運転中でかつ内燃機関を覆うフードが開放しているときに上記自動停止始動機能の設定を禁止し、その自動停止始動機能の設定禁止状態からフードが閉塞していることと車速が所定速度以上であることの両要件が成立したときに上記自動停止始動機能の設定を許可するように制御していることを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載の内燃機関の制御装置を備えたことを特徴とする自動車。
