Description
本発明は、上記要請に応えるために、アルミニウム合金板材(aluminum alloy sheet)をインラインの連続的製造する方法を提供するものであり、(i)連続鋳造された薄肉アルミニウム合金ストリップを母材として供給すること、(ii)所望により、母材を望ましい熱間又は温間の圧延温度までクエンチングすること、(iii)クエンチングされた母材を所望の最終厚さまで熱間圧延又は温間圧延すること、(iv)所望される合金及び質別の種類に応じて、インラインで母材に焼鈍又は溶体化熱処理を施すこと、及び(v)所望により、母材をクエンチングした後、望ましくは、テンションレベリング及びコイリングを行なうこと、を含んでいる。なお、追加の工程として、テンションレベリング及びコイリングを含むことが好ましい。
本発明のさらなる目的は、より効率的且つ経済的な方法で、アルミニウム合金板材をインラインで連続的に製造する方法を提供することである。
本発明は、アルミニウム合金板材をインラインの連続的工程で製造する方法を提供するものであって、該方法は、(i)連続鋳造された薄肉アルミニウム合金ストリップを母材として供給すること、(ii)所望により、母材を望ましい熱間又は温間の圧延温度までクエンチングすること、(iii)クエンチングされた母材を所望の最終厚さまで熱間圧延又は温間圧延すること、(iv)所望される合金及び質別の種類に応じて、インラインで母材に焼鈍又は溶体化熱処理を施すこと、及び(v)所望により、母材をクエンチングした後、望ましくは、テンションレベリング及びコイリングを行なうこと、を含んでいる。
この方法により、所望の寸法及び特性を有するアルミニウム合金板材が作製される。望ましい実施例において、アルミニウム合金板材は、コイリングされ、後の使用に供される。この一連の工程は、図1のフローチャートに示されている。図1は、連続鋳造されたアルミニウム合金ストリップ母材(1)を示しており、該母材は、選択的に、剪断及びトリミングステーション(2)の中を通り、選択的に、温度調節のためにクエンチング(4)され、熱間圧延(6)され、選択的に、トリミング(8)される。次に、母材は、焼鈍(16)された後、適当にクエンチング(18)され、選択的にコイリング(20)が施され、O質別製品(22)が作られるか、又は、溶体化熱処理(10)された後、適当にクエンチング(18)され、選択的にコイリング(20)が施され、T質別製品(24)が作られる。図1に示されるように、加熱工程及びその後のクエンチング工程の温度は、所望される質別の種類によって異なる。
<実験1> インラインでの熱処理型合金の製造
熱処理型アルミニウム合金を、本発明の方法によりインラインで処理を施した。鋳造品の組成は、自動車パネル用の6022合金の中から選択した。溶融物の分析結果は次の通りである。

非熱処理型アルミニウム合金を、本発明の方法によりインラインで処理を施した。鋳造品の組成は、自動車用インナーパネル及び補強材用に用いられる5754合金の中から選択した。溶融物の分析は以下の通りである。

Al−10%Mg合金を、本発明の方法によって製造した。溶融物の組成は次のとおりである。

Claims (2)
- 6XXX系アルミニウム合金の板材をインラインの連続工程で製造する方法であって、
(i)連続鋳造により、厚さ1.524〜6.35mm(0.06〜0.25インチ)に鋳造されたアルミニウム合金ストリップを母材として供給するステップ、
(ii)母材を、1工程の熱間圧延により、厚さ0.508〜3.81mm(0.02〜0.15インチ)の板材とするステップ、
(iii)板材を、510〜538℃(950〜1000°F)の温度で0.1〜3秒間、溶体化熱処理をし、43〜121℃(110〜250°F)の温度まで急冷するステップ、
(iv)T43質別の熱処理を行うか又は行わないで、T4質別に達するまで放置し安定化させて、6XXX系アルミニウムアルミニウム合金の板材を製造するステップ、
を上記(i)−(iv)の順に行なう6XXX系アルミニウム合金板材の製造方法。 - 5XXX系アルミニウム合金の板材をインラインの連続工程で製造する方法であって、
(i)連続鋳造により、厚さ1.524〜6.35mm(0.06〜0.25インチ)に鋳造されたアルミニウム合金ストリップを母材として供給するステップ、
(ii)母材を、微細な結晶粒を得るために、急冷装置により、204〜482℃(400〜900°F)の温度まで急冷するステップ、
(iii)母材を、1工程の熱間圧延により、厚さ0.508〜3.81mm(0.02〜0.15インチ)の板材とするステップ、
(iv)板材を、426〜510℃(800〜950°F)の温度で0.1〜3秒間、再結晶焼鈍をし、43〜382℃(110〜720°F)の温度まで急冷するステップ、
を上記(i)−(iv)の順に行なう5XXX系アルミニウム合金板材の製造方法。
