Description
本発明は、広く無線デジタル通信システムの分野、より具体的には、適応変調、符号化方法、および電力制御方法を用いた無線デジタル通信システムに関連したものである。
ステップ1203および1209の処理を終えたAT150a〜150hの推定SIRは、図13(a)および図13(b)中の白丸で表されている。本実施形態のひとつの重要な特徴は、ネットワーク全体の干渉レベルを引き下げるために、ATにデータを伝送する際に余分な伝送電力を削減するという点にある。ここで、図13(a)におけるAT150cを見てみると、補正後のSIRは「16QAM、符号化率2/3」の範囲内にある白丸で示されているのがわかる。また、この白丸は、「16QAM、符号化率1/3」の範囲との境界よりもかなり上方にあることがわかる。また、この白丸が示すSIRは、データがHPレベル伝送された時に計測されるSIRである。図13(a)を見ると、「16QAM、符号化率2/3」のデータ通信速度が保たれている限り、HPレベルを下げても差し支えないことがわかる。HPレベルが下がればSIRも低下する。ステップ1205において、AP140aは、SIRをHPレベルから、図13(a)における補正後のSIRを閾値線のすぐ上にある白四角で示される位置まで引き下げた場合の予測される伝送電力の減少分を算出する。
Claims (7)
- 複数のアクセス端末の各々との間でデータ通信を行うアクセスポイントを複数有する無線デジタル通信網において、
(a)前記複数のアクセスポイントのうちの1のアクセスポイントが、誤り耐性が異なる2以上のデータ伝送方法の中から、隣接する他のアクセスポイントが選択する誤り耐性とは異なる誤り耐性のデータ伝送方法を選択するように、周期的に1のデータ伝送方法を選択し、当該選択したデータ伝送方法に基づき、前記複数のアクセス端末の各々とのデータ通信におけるデータ通信速度を特定する処理と、
(b)前記1のアクセスポイントが、前記特定したデータ通信速度によるデータ通信を維持可能な電力レベルを特定する処理と、
(c)前記1のアクセスポイントが、前記特定した電力レベルに基づいて、前記複数のアクセス端末の各々とのデータ通信を行う処理と
を備える伝送制御方法。 - 複数のアクセス端末の各々との間でデータ通信を行うアクセスポイントを複数有する無線デジタル通信網において、
(a)前記複数のアクセスポイントのうちの1のアクセスポイントが、前記複数のアクセス端末の各々とのデータ通信において伝送すべきデータのデータ長を特定し、前記複数のアクセス端末の各々とのデータ通信におけるデータ通信速度として、当該特定したデータ長のデータを伝送可能なデータ通信速度を特定する処理と、
(b)前記1のアクセスポイントが、前記特定したデータ通信速度によるデータ通信を維持可能な電力レベルを特定する処理と、
(c)前記1のアクセスポイントが、前記特定した電力レベルに基づいて、前記複数のアクセス端末の各々とのデータ通信を行う処理と
を備える伝送制御方法。 - 複数のアクセス端末の各々との間でデータ通信を行うアクセスポイントを複数有する無線デジタル通信網において、
(a)前記複数のアクセスポイントのうちの1のアクセスポイントが、前記複数のアクセス端末の各々とのデータ通信において用いられる通信チャンネルの状態を示すチャンネル状態情報を取得する処理と、
(b)前記1のアクセスポイントに隣接する他のアクセスポイントが、前記複数のアクセス端末の各々とのデータ通信における電力レベルを変化させる処理と、
(c)前記1のアクセスポイントが、前記電力レベルの変化に基づき、前記チャンネル状態情報を補正する処理と、
(d)前記1のアクセスポイントが、前記補正したチャンネル状態情報により示される通信チャンネルの状態において、前記複数のアクセス端末の各々との間でデータを伝送可能なデータ通信速度を特定する処理と、
(e)前記他のアクセスポイントが、前記特定したデータ通信速度に基づいて、前記複数のアクセス端末の各々とのデータ通信を行う処理と
を備える伝送制御方法。 - 前記他のアクセスポイントが、前記(e)の処理に先んじて、前記特定したデータ通信速度によるデータ通信を維持可能な電力レベルを特定する処理を備え、
前記他のアクセスポイントは、前記(e)の処理において、前記特定した電力レベルに基づいて、前記複数のアクセス端末とのデータ通信を行う
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の伝送制御方法。 - 前記チャンネル状態情報は、信号対雑音電力比、信号対雑音干渉比、信号エネルギー対雑音比、フレーム誤り率、ビット誤り率、データ通信速度制御番号のいずれか一を含む
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の伝送制御方法。 - 前記1のアクセスポイントが、一定電力で定期的にパイロットシンボルを送信する処理と、
前記複数のアクセス端末の各々が、前記パイロットシンボルの受信状態に基づき、前記1のアクセスポイントとのデータ通信において用いられる通信チャンネルの状態を推定し、前記推定の結果を示すチャンネル状態情報を前記1のアクセスポイントに送信する処理と
を備え、
前記1のアクセスポイントは、前記(a)の処理において、前記複数のアクセス端末の各々から送信されるチャンネル状態情報を取得する
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の伝送制御方法。 - 無線デジタル通信網を介して、複数のアクセス端末の各々との間でデータ通信を行うアクセスポイントであって、
前記複数のアクセス端末の各々とのデータ通信において用いられる通信チャンネルの状態を示すチャンネル状態情報を取得する手段と、
隣接する他のアクセスポイントがデータ通信に用いる電力レベルの変化に基づき、前記チャンネル状態情報を補正する手段と、
前記チャンネル状態情報を補正する手段により補正された前記チャンネル状態情報により示される通信チャンネルの状態において、前記複数のアクセス端末の各々との間でデータを伝送可能なデータ通信速度を特定する手段と、
前記特定したデータ通信速度に基づいて、前記複数のアクセス端末の各々とのデータ通信を行う手段と
を備えることを特徴とするアクセスポイント。
