Claims (24)
- 基板上に第一電極を設けるステップ、
複数の画素領域を発生させるために、前記基板の上にパターン化された突起構造を形成するステップ、
前記各画素領域に液晶層を充填するステップ、
前記液晶層にモノマー層を充填するステップ、および
前記モノマー層を高分子層に重合するステップ
を含む液晶ディスプレイの製造方法。 - 前記基板が、ガラス基板、金属基板、または高分子基板からなる請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記基板が、アクティブマトリクスアレイ基板からなる請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記第一電極が、有機導電材料または無機導電材料からなる請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記第一電極が、複数の平行電極、または一対の櫛歯状電極を含み、横向き電場を形成する請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記第一電極の上に配向膜を形成するステップをさらに含む請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記配向膜が、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリイミド、ポリアミド、ポリウレア、ナイロン、またはレシチンからなる請求項6記載の方法。
- 前記突起構造が、リソグラフィ、印刷、または噴霧法によって形成される請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記液晶層が、インクジェット印刷によって形成される請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記液晶層が、2重ツイストネマティック液晶、コレステリック液晶、スメクティック液晶、円盤状液晶、または液晶相からなる請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記液晶層の単体体積の重量が、約0.7〜1.5g/cm3である請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記モノマー層が、インクジェット印刷によって形成される請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記モノマー層の重合が、放射重合、加熱重合、またはラジカル重合である請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記モノマー層の単位体積の重量が、約0.5〜1.7g/cm3である請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記高分子層の上に第二電極を形成するステップをさらに含む請求項1記載の方法。
- 基板上に第一電極を設けるステップ、
前記第一電極に配向膜を形成するステップ、
複数の画素領域を発生させるために、前記基板の上にパターン化された突起構造を形成するステップ、

前記高分子層の上に第二電極を形成するステップ
を含む液晶ディスプレイの製造方法。 - 前記基板が、アクティブマトリクスアレイ基板からなる請求項16記載の方法。
- 前記第一電極が、複数の平行電極、または一対の櫛歯状電極を含み、横向き電場を形成する請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記配向膜は、ポリビニルアルコール、ポリイミド、ポリアミド、ポリウレア、ナイロン、またはレシチンからなる請求項16記載の方法。
