表1に示す組成の洗口液を作製し、下記に示す性状評価基準にて液の性状を確認した。さらに3名のパネラーに各洗口液10mLを30秒間含嗽させ、下記に示す官能評価基準にて評価させた。結果を表2〜4に示す。表中の%は質量%を示す。

性状評価は濁りが生じたもののみ下記の表示を付した。

◎:異味・異臭がなく後味がよく清涼感が強い
○:異味・異臭はないが清涼感が弱い
△:異臭・油っぽさ(ノニオン由来)が残り後味が悪く清涼感が弱い
×:異臭・刺激(アニオン由来)が残り後味が悪い清涼感が弱い
