Description
本実施形態に係る動力伝達装置は、四輪バギーやATV(All Terrain Vehicle)などの車両に搭載されるとともに、2輪駆動と4輪駆動との切り換え、及び差動手段の差動のロック又はロックの解除を行わせ得るものであり、図1に示すように、車両1の前方であって前輪2a、2bの間に配設されたものである。
まず、車両を2輪駆動から4輪駆動に切り換えるには、モータMを駆動させて作動軸11(小径部11a及び大径部11b)を軸L3周りに回転させる。これにより、第1フォークF1が作動軸11に案内されつつ小径部11aの周面を摺動することにより作動し、スリーブA1を従動部材14のスプラインに嵌合させる。尚、スリーブA1のスプライン形状とこれに対応する従動部材14側のスプラインとが合致していない場合、スプリングSが収縮することにより、駆動手段12側(具体的には回転部材18)の回転を吸収している。

Claims (3)
- 車両の駆動源と連結されて軸周りに回転駆動する入力軸と、
該入力軸の回転力が伝達されると、当該車両の前輪又は後輪を駆動させ得る左右一対の出力軸と、
前記入力軸と出力軸との間に介装され、差動により当該出力軸の回転数の差を吸収し得る差動手段と、
軸周りの回転により、前記入力軸と出力軸との連結又はその解除をさせて前記入力軸の前記出力軸に対する回転力の伝達を断続させるとともに、前記差動手段の差動を許容又はロックさせ得る作動軸と、
該作動軸を任意回転させ得る駆動手段と、
前記差動手段及び作動軸を収容しつつ車両に搭載されるケースと、
を具備し、前記作動軸により車両の2輪駆動と4輪駆動との切り換え、及び差動手段の差動のロックを行わせ得る動力伝達装置であって、
前記ケースにおける車両のエンジン側に臨ませる背面から前記入力軸を前記作動軸と略平行な状態で延設させるとともに、当該ケースの背面に前記駆動手段を配設した構成とされ、且つ、前記作動軸の側面及び端面には、それぞれフォークを動作させ得る側面用カム溝及び端面用カム溝が形成されるとともに、当該作動軸の回転に伴い当該側面用カム溝及び端面用カム溝に沿ってフォークを作動させ、前記入力軸と出力軸との連結又はその解除、及び前記差動手段の差動の許容又はロックを行わせることを特徴とする動力伝達装置。 - 前記端面用カム溝から延びるフォークは、当該作動軸の延長線上に延びて配設されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の動力伝達装置。
- 前記側面用カム溝から延びるフォークは、その基端が前記作動軸を挟持して取り付けられ、当該作動軸に案内されつつ側面用カム溝に沿って作動することを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2記載の動力伝達装置。
