Description
(i)本発明に記載の汚れ除去プロセスを、布帛物品の局所的な汚れ領域で実施し、
(ii)工程(i)からの布帛物品全体を、水性洗浄組成物を含有するキャリアと共に汚染物バッグに入れ、
(iii)前記バッグを攪拌するために装置、好ましくは高温空気衣類乾燥機に入れ、前記バッグを攪拌し、
(iv)布帛物品を前記バッグから取り出すことの全てを含んでなる、布帛物品が処理されるプロセスが提供される。
(i)本発明に記載の汚れ除去方法を、布帛物品の局所的な汚れ領域で実施し、
(ii)工程(i)の布帛物品全体を、水性洗浄組成物を含有するキャリアと共に攪拌するために装置、好ましくは高温空気衣類乾燥機に入れ、前記布帛物品を攪拌し、
(iii)布帛物品を前記装置から取り出すことの全てを含んでなる、布帛物品が処理されるプロセスが提供される。
(i)本発明に記載の汚れ除去方法を、布帛物品の局所的な汚れた領域で実施し、
(ii)工程(i)からの処理した布帛物品全体を従来の水性洗濯プロセスで洗濯することの全てを含んでなる、布帛物品が処理されるプロセスが提供される。
(i)本発明に記載の汚れ除去方法を、布帛物品の局所的な汚れ領域で実施し、
(ii)空気乾燥によって、及び/又は布帛物品を攪拌するために装置、好ましくは高温空気衣類乾燥機に入れ、前記布帛物品を攪拌して布帛を乾燥することによって、布帛物品を乾燥することの全てを含んでなる、布帛物品が処理されるプロセスが提供される。
a)汚れ除去組成物と、
b)物品、好ましくは布帛物品から汚れを除去するための汚れ除去組成物の使用に関する説明書と、
c)任意選択的に、ユーザーが前記汚れ除去組成物の使用説明を練習可能な汚れを含んでなる練習用物品を含んでなる練習用の汚れと、
d)任意選択的に、吸収性汚れ受け物品と、
e)任意選択的に、液体洗浄/リフレッシュメント組成物であり、好ましくはキャリアシートに放出可能に含有された液体洗浄/リフレッシュメント組成物と、
f)任意選択的に、汚染物バッグと
を含んでなるキットが提供される。
本明細書で用いられる場合、用語「布帛物品」及び/又は「布帛」は、従来の洗濯プロセス又はドライクリーニングプロセスにて、通例洗浄される任意の物品を意味することを意図する。そのようなものとして、前記用語は、衣服、リネン類、掛け布、及び衣服付属品を包含する。前記用語は、大型買物袋、家具カバー、防水布など、全体的に又は部分的に布で作られた品目をも包含する。
本発明は、布帛物品からの偶発的な汚れの洗浄(即ち、汚れの除去及び/又は低減)を改善すると同時に、卓越した布地ケア特性を維持する組成物を提供する。
本明細書の親油性流体は、布帛物品処理機器の運転条件下で、換言すれば、本発明にしたがっての布帛物品の処理中に、液体相を有するものである。一般に、このような親油性流体は周囲温度及び圧力で完全に液体であり得、容易に溶融する固体(例えば、約0℃〜約60℃の範囲の温度で液体になるもの)であり得、又は周囲温度及び圧力、例えば25℃及び1気圧で液相と蒸気相の混合物を含んでなり得る。従って、親油性流体は、二酸化炭素のような圧縮性気体ではない。
ドライクリーニング流体に対する既知の要求(例えば、引火点)を満たすことができ、下記の試験法に示されるように、少なくとも部分的に皮脂を溶解可能な任意の非水性流体が本明細書の親油性流体として好適である。一般指針としてパーフルオロブチルアミン(フロリナート(Fluorinert)FC−43(登録商標))はそれ自体(添加物と共に、又は添加物なしで)では、本質的に本明細書で使用される親油性流体として好適でない(本質的に非溶媒である)標準物質であるが、一方でシクロペンタシロキサンは好適な皮脂溶解特性を有し、皮脂を溶解させる。

本発明で使用するのに好適な好ましい親油性流体は、優れた衣類を保護する特徴を有することに基づいて、使用のためにさらに格付けし得る。衣類処理特性試験は当該技術分野において周知であり、継ぎ目等や様々なボタンに使用される布帛、糸、及びゴムひもを含む幅広い範囲の衣類又は布帛物品構成要素を使用して特定化される試験を含む。本明細書に用いるのに好ましい親油性流体は、優れた衣類処理特性を有する、例えば、良好な収縮及び/又は布帛ひだ寄せ特性を有し、プラスチックボタンに目立った損傷を与えない。例えばエチルラクテートのような、皮脂の除去において親油性流体として使用するのが適切である特定の物質は、ボタンを溶解する傾向があるために極めて好ましくなく、そのような物質が本発明の組成物中に使用される場合、混合物全体が実質的にボタンに損傷を与えないように、水及び/又は他の物質と配合される。他の親油性流体、D5は、例えば衣服ケアの要件を極めてよく満たす。幾つかの好適な親油性流体は、付与された米国特許第5,865,852号、第5,942,007号、第6,042,617号、第6,042,618号、第6,056,789号、第6,059,845号、及び第6,063,135号の中に見出されるが、これらを本明細書に引用して援用する。
本発明の界面活性剤成分は、親油性流体中に水を懸濁し及び/又は親油性流体の汚れ除去効果を向上させ得る物質とすることが可能である。この物質は、親油性流体中に可溶性であってもよい。

D”は、R”6 2SiO2/2であり、式中、R6は、独立に、H、一価の炭化水素基、又は(CH2)l(C6H4)m(A)n−[(L)o−(A’)p−]q−(L’)rZ(G)sであり、式中、lは1〜10であり、mは0又は1であり、nは0〜5であり、oは0〜3であり、pは0又は1であり、qは0〜10であり、rは0〜3であり、sは0〜3であり、C6H4は、C1〜10アルキル又はアルケニルで置換されていないか又は置換されており、A及びA’は、それぞれ独立に連結部分であって、エステル、ケト、エーテル、チオ、アミド、アミノ、C1〜4フルオロアルキル、C1〜4フルオロアルケニル、分枝又は直鎖ポリアルキレンオキシド、ホスフェート、スルホニル、サルフェート、アンモニウム、及びこれらの混合物を表し、L及びL’は、それぞれ独立に、非置換又は置換の、C1〜30直鎖若しくは分枝アルキル又はアルケニル又はアリ−ルであり、Zは、水素、カルボン酸、ヒドロキシ、ホスホナト、ホスフェートエステル、スルホニル、スルホネート、サルフェート、分枝又は直鎖ポリアルキレンオキシド、ニトリル、グリセリル、C1〜30アルキル又はアルケニルで置換されていないか又は置換されているアリール、C1〜10アルキル又はアルケニル又はアンモニウムで置換されていないか又は置換されている炭水化物であり、Gは、H+、Na+、Li+、K+、NH4 +、Ca+2、Mg+2、Cl−、Br−、I−、メシラート、又はトシラートなどの陰イオン若しくは陽イオンである。
本発明の組成物はさらに極性溶媒を含んでなってもよい。極性溶媒の非限定的な例には、水、アルコール、グリコール、ポリグリコール、エーテル、カーボネート、二塩基性エステル、ケトン、他の酸素化溶媒、及びこれらの混合物などが挙げられる。アルコールの他の例には、プロパノール、エタノール、イソプロピルアルコールなどのC1〜C126アルコール、ベンジルアルコール、及び1,2−ヘキサンジオールなどのジオールなどが挙げられる。ダウ・ケミカル(Dow Chemical)によるダウアノール(Dowanol)シリーズは、本発明に有用なグリコール及びポリグリコールの例であり、例えば、ダウアノール(Dowanol)TPM、TPnP、DPnB、DPnP、TPnB、PPh、DPM、DPMA、DB、及び他のものなどがある。他の例には、プロピレングリコール、ブチレングリコール、ポリブチレングリコール、及びさらに疎水性のグリコールなどが挙げられる。カーボネート溶媒の例には、エチレン、プロピレン、及びブチレンカーボネート、例えばジェフソル(Jeffsol)の商標名で入手可能なものなどがある。本発明用の極性溶媒は、分散性(δD)、極性(δP)、及び水素結合(δH)ハンセン溶解度パラメータによってさらに同定し得る。好ましい極性溶媒又は極性溶媒混合物は、極性分率の値(fP)及び水素結合分率の値(fH)が、fP>0.02及びfH>0.10であり、ここでfP=δP/(δD+δP+δH)及びfH=δH/(δD+δP+δH)、さらに好ましくはfP>0.05及びfH>0.20、最も好ましくはfP>0.07及びfH>0.30である。
本発明の組成物は、さらに任意選択的に少なくとも1つの追加洗浄補助剤を含んでなる。前記洗浄補助剤は、広範にわたることが可能であり、広範にわたる濃度で使用することが可能である。例えば、洗濯又は洗浄製品で全て有用なマンガン又は類似の遷移金属を有する大環状型を含む漂白触媒と同様に、プロテアーゼ類、アミラーゼ類、セルラーゼ類、リパーゼ類などの洗浄性酵素を、非常に低い濃度で、又はあまり普通ではないがより高い濃度で、本明細書に使用し得る。触媒作用をする洗浄補助剤、例えば、酵素は「前進」又は「逆進」モードで用いることができ、これは本発明の布帛処理方法とは無関係に有用な発見である。例えば、リポラーゼ又は他の加水分解酵素は、任意選択的にアルコールの存在下で洗浄補助剤として使用されて、脂肪酸をエステルに変換し、それにより親油性流体中での溶解性を増大させ得る。これは「逆進」操作であって、水に対する溶解度がより小さい脂肪酸エステルを、水に対する溶解度がより大きい物質に転換するための水中における加水分解酵素の通常の使用法とは対照的である。とにかく、どのような洗浄補助剤も、本発明の親油性流体と組み合わせて使用するのに好適でなければならない。
本発明の好ましい汚れ除去方法においては、本発明の汚れ除去組成物が吸収性汚れ受けと共に使用され、容器内に放出可能に収容され、それが分配手段を備えている。(容器とその分配手段との組み合わせは本明細書で合わせて「ディスペンサー」と呼ばれる)。本発明のプロセスにおいて、布帛は局所的な染み領域がないか検査される。続いて、汚れた領域を吸収性汚れ受けと密着させ、ディスペンサーを用いて処理する。
予備染み抜きでは、衣類又は布帛見本の汚れた領域を汚れ受け部分に被せて置き、続いて本発明の汚れ除去組成物で、好ましくは機械的攪拌を提供するためのディスペンサーチューブの先端と共に処理する。先端での繰り返し操作及び汚れ除去組成物の洗浄効果は、汚れを浮かせて汚れ受けに移動させる役割を果たす。染み抜きが進む間、汚れ受けの毛管の吸い込み作用が汚れ除去組成物及び汚れの細片を汚れ受けに送り、そこで汚れの細片の大部分が保持される。この工程の終了時に、汚れと同様にほぼ全ての汚れ除去組成物が、処理された布帛から除去されて受けに移動することが確認された。この結果、布帛表面は湿っているだけで、布帛上に望ましくない輪を生じ得る汚れ除去組成物/汚れ細片の残留物がほとんど又はまったく残らない。
本発明の製品(汚れ除去組成物に使用説明書を加えたもの)は、本発明に記載のキットに組み込んでもよい。
本発明のキットは、キャリアシートに好ましくは放出可能に吸収される洗浄/リフレッシュメント組成物を、好ましくはさらに含んでなる。前記キャリアシートは、好ましくは異なる伸びの複合物質を含んでなる。「放出可能に含有する」とは、前記組成物がキャリアシートから物品上、好ましくは汚れた布帛上に、本明細書に記載の非浸漬洗浄及び布帛リフレッシュメントプロセスの一部として有効に放出されることを意味する。この放出は主に、キャリアシートからの組成物の揮発によって発生する。
以下は、本発明の汚れ除去組成物の非限定的な実施例である。
5オルガノ変性ポリジメチルシロキサン、OSiスペシャルティーズ(OSi Specialties)より入手可能。
本発明の方法に従って処理された布帛物品も、本発明の範囲内である。好ましくは、そのような処理された布帛物品は、表面エネルギー改質効果を有するが静電気防止効果を有さない少なくとも一種の化合物(例えば、オルガノシリコーン)の分析的に検出可能な量、又は表面エネルギー改質及び/若しくは感触改質及び/若しくは快適さ改質及び/若しくは美的効果を有する少なくとも一種の化合物、並びに前記少なくとも一種の化合物以外の少なくとも一種の静電気防止剤の分析的に検出可能な量を含んでなる。
Claims (9)
- 布帛物品から偶発的な汚れを除去するための前処理組成物であって、
a)直鎖、分枝状、及び環状のジメチルシロキサンシリコーン、及びこれらの混合物を含んでなる群から選択される親油性流体と、
前記親油性流体が前記組成物の60重量%〜99.95重量%で含まれてなり
b)親油性流体の汚れ除去効果を向上させ及び/又は親油性流体中に水を懸濁することが可能な界面活性剤成分と、
前記界面活性剤成分が、アルキレンオキシ官能基を有するポリエーテルシロキサン、オルガノスルホサクシネート界面活性剤、及びこれらの混合物からなる群より選択されてなり、かつ、前記界面活性剤成分が前記組成物の0.01重量%〜10重量%で含まれてなり、
c)極性溶媒と、及び
前記極性溶媒が、前記組成物の2重量%〜25重量%で含まれてなり、
d)少なくとも一種の追加の非溶媒洗浄補助剤を含んでなり、
前記非溶媒洗浄補助剤がアミノ官能シリコーンである、組成物。 - 前記界面活性剤成分が、アルキル鎖がそれぞれ約C6〜約C20であるジアルキルスルホサクシネートである、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記極性溶媒が、水である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記非溶媒洗浄補助剤が、ビルダー、界面活性剤、乳化剤、酵素、漂白活性化剤、漂白触媒、漂白促進剤、漂白剤、アルカリ性供給源、抗菌剤、着色剤、香料、石灰石鹸分散剤、賦香剤、臭気中和剤、ポリマー移染抑制剤、結晶成長阻害剤、光漂白剤、重金属イオン封鎖剤、変色防止剤、抗微生物剤、酸化防止剤、再付着防止剤、汚れ放出ポリマー、電解質、pH調整剤、増粘剤、研磨剤、二価イオン、金属イオン塩、酵素安定化剤、腐食防止剤、ジアミン、泡安定化ポリマー、溶媒、加工助剤、糊剤、蛍光増白剤、ヒドロトロープ、及びこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される物質をさらに含んでなる、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記非溶媒洗浄補助剤が、漂白剤をさらに含んでなる、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 布帛物品から偶発的な汚れを除去する為の前処理組成物であって、
a)前記組成物の60重量%〜99.95重量%の、直鎖、分枝状、及び環状のジメチルシロキサンシリコーン、及びこれらの混合物と、
b)前記組成物の0.01重量%〜10重量%の、親油性流体の汚れ除去効果を向上させ及び/又は親油性流体中に水を懸濁することが可能な界面活性剤成分と、ここで、前記界面活性剤成分が、アルキレンオキシ官能基を有するポリエーテルシロキサン、オルガノスルホサクシネート界面活性剤、及びこれらの混合物からなる群より選択されてなり、
c)前記組成物の2重量%〜25重量%の極性溶媒と、及び
d)前記組成物の0.01重量%〜10重量%のアミノ官能シロキサン洗浄補助剤とを含んでなる、組成物。 - 前記親油性流体がデカメチルシクロペンタシロキサンである、請求項6に記載の組成物。
- 前記極性溶媒が、水である、請求項6に記載の組成物。
- 酵素をさらに含んでなる、請求項1に記載の組成物。
