Claims (5)
- イオン流が衝突セルの中に輸送される質量分光計装置を作動させる方法であって、前記衝突セルが入口端を有してなり、前記方法が、
前記イオン流に、前記入口端の直前で間隔を置いた位置において、反応性衝突ガスを供給し、それにより、前記イオンが前記衝突セルに入る前に、前記反応性衝突ガスと前記イオンの間の反応を促進することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記反応性衝突ガスが、前記入口の端に付加的に注入されることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載の方法。
- 前記反応性衝突ガスが、前記衝突セルの前記入口の端に環状に前記反応性衝突ガスを注入することを特徴とする請求の範囲第2項記載の方法。
- 前記反応性衝突ガスがアンモニアであることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項、第2項あるいは第3項の内いずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記衝突セルが、低質量及び高質量カットオフを有する帯域通過モードで動作し、前記低質量及び高質量カットオフの間のイオンを輸送することを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項、第2項あるいは第3項の内いずれか1項に記載の方法。
