Claims (12)
- シリンダに配置され、長手方向に移動可能なピストンによって境界付けられる燃焼室(4)内に燃料を噴射するためのシリンダ(2)毎に1つの噴射器(8)を有する直接噴射火花点火内燃機関であって、
前記噴射器(8)が、その円周上に配置された複数の噴射孔(12)を有する噴射ノズル(11)を有し、前記噴射孔(12)の燃料ジェット(13)が、噴射行程にあるときに、別個に送ることができる燃焼空気を有する円錐状燃料雲(14)を形成し、また前記燃焼室(4)で拡がるピストン凹部が、前記ピストン(3)のピストンヘッド(5)に、前記噴射ノズル(11)のほぼ向かい側に形成され、
前記ピストンヘッド(5)に形成された前記ピストン凹部(6)の底部に、ピストン面の濡れを防止するため、半径方向に拡げられた複数の半径方向空洞(16)が形成され、前記噴射器(8)の各噴射孔(12)に、前記それぞれの燃料ジェット(13)が方向付けられる前記半径方向空洞(16)が割り当てられるように、前記半径方向空洞(16)がピストン凹部(6)の円周にわたって分布され、前記半径方向空洞(16)は、前記それぞれの燃料ジェット(13)が前記半径方向空洞(16)に直接付着しないよう形成されるものであり、
点火プラグ(10)は、その電極がいずれか二つの隣り合う前記噴射孔(12)から噴射される燃料ジェット(13)の間の領域に配置されるよう位置決めされることを特徴とする内燃機関。 - 前記ピストン凹部(6)に配置される前記半径方向空洞(16)はオメガ形状を有しており、前記ピストン凹部(6)の中央部分に中央突起部(15)が形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記空洞(16)が、前記ピストン凹部(6)の円周にわたって回転対称的に分布されることを特徴とする、請求項1あるいは2に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記ピストン凹部(6)が前記ピストンヘッド(5)の中心位置に配置され、また前記噴射器(8)が前記シリンダ(2)のシリンダ軸(7)と同軸に配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記ピストン凹部(6)の円周にわたって配置される前記複数の半径方向空洞(16)の間に、縁部(17)がそれぞれ配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記中央隆起部(15)が円錐構造であることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記噴射器(8)が、内側方向に開口弁要素(18)を有するシートホールノズルとして具体化されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記ピストン凹部(6)の前記半径方向空洞(16)が、前記ピストン(3)の半径(RZ)の約0.6〜0.9倍、好ましくは0.8倍である半径(RK)を有する外接円内に位置することを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記すべての噴射孔(12)の前記燃料ジェット(13)から形成される円錐の開口角度(α)が、60°〜130°、好ましくは75°〜85°であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関。
- 局所的に異なる燃料濃度を有する層状混合気が、前記内燃機関(1)の低負荷範囲で少なくとも形成され、前記燃料の噴射が、前記シリンダ(2)の圧縮行程中の上死点前のクランク角約50°よりも後の時間に始まることを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の火花点火内燃機関を作動するための方法。
- 前記燃料/空気混合気が、前記燃料噴射の終了後の遅くともクランク角10°で点火されることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記燃料が、80バール超、好ましくは160バール以上の圧力で噴射されることを特徴とする、請求項10あるいは11に記載の方法。
