Claims (12)
- シリンダに配置され、長手方向に移動可能なピストンによって境界付けられる燃焼室(4)内に燃料を噴射するためのシリンダ(2)毎に1つの噴射器(8)を有する直接噴射火花点火内燃機関であって、前記噴射器(8)が、その円周上に配置された複数の噴射孔(12)を有する噴射ノズル(11)を有し、前記噴射孔(12)の燃料ジェット(13)が、噴射行程があるときに、別個に送ることができる燃焼空気を有する円錐状燃料雲(14)を形成し、また前記燃焼室(4)で拡がるピストン凹部が、前記ピストン(3)のピストンヘッド(5)に、前記噴射ノズル(11)のほぼ向かい側に形成される内燃機関において、前記ピストン凹部(6)が、噴射燃料を収容するために、前記ピストンヘッド(5)に形成された複数の半径方向空洞(16)と共に半径方向に拡げられ、前記噴射器(8)の各噴射孔(12)に、前記それぞれの燃料ジェット(13)を収容するための空洞(16)が割り当てられるように、前記半径方向空洞(16)がピストン凹部(6)の円周にわたって分布されることを特徴とする内燃機関。
- 前記空洞(16)が、前記ピストン凹部(6)の円周にわたって回転対称的に分布されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記ピストン凹部(6)が前記ピストンヘッド(5)の中心位置に配置され、また前記噴射器(8)が前記シリンダ(2)のシリンダ軸(7)と同軸に配置されることを特徴とする、請求項1あるいは2に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記ピストン(3)の前記ピストン凹部(6)が、前記ピストンヘッド(5)のレベルに配置される前記ピストン凹部(6)の縁部(17)の上方に半径方向に延在して形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記ピストン凹部(6)内に、その底部より中央隆起部(15)が形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記中央隆起部(15)が円錐構造であることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記噴射器(8)が、内側方向に開口弁要素(18)を有するシートホールノズルとして具体化されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記ピストン凹部(6)の前記半径方向空洞(16)が、前記ピストン(3)の半径(RZ)の約0.6〜0.9倍、好ましくは0.8倍である半径(RK)を有する外接円内に位置することを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関。
- 前記すべての噴射孔(12)の前記燃料ジェット(13)から形成される円錐の開口角度(α)が、60°〜130°、好ましくは75°〜85°であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の内燃機関。
- 局所的に異なる燃料濃度を有する層状混合気が、前記内燃機関(1)の低負荷範囲で少なくとも形成され、前記燃料の噴射が、前記シリンダ(2)の圧縮行程中の上死点前のクランク角約50°よりも後の時間に始まることを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の火花点火内燃機関を作動するための方法。
- 前記燃料/空気混合気が、前記燃料噴射の終了後の遅くともクランク角10°で点火されることを特徴とする、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記燃料が、80バール超、好ましくは160バール以上の圧力で噴射されることを特徴とする、請求項10あるいは11に記載の方法。
