Description
実施例1〜6及び比較例1〜7
低透過性樹脂(EVOH)とゴムとの積層体は以下の方法により作製した。表Iに記載のEVOHを溶媒(水/イソプロピルアルコール50/50 w/w混合溶媒)に溶解させ、濃度10wt%に調製したEVOH溶液を作製した。(*シランカップリング剤をEVOHに配合する場合は、この溶液にシランカップリング剤を所定量配合する)
上記EVOH溶液をポリエチレン(PE)フィルム上にコーティングし、溶媒を揮発させることにより、均一な厚み(表Iに記載の厚み)のEVOH薄膜を得た。ついで、PEに積層されたEVOHを、表Iに示す厚さ0.5mmのゴム組成物と、PE/EVOH/ゴム組成物の順に積層させ、PEを剥がすことにより、EVOH/ゴム組成物積層体を作製し、さらにEVOH側に厚さ0.5mmゴム組成物を積層させて、ゴム組成物/EVOH/ゴム組成物の3層からなる低透過性ゴム積層体を作製した。本EVOH/ゴム組成物の作製方法は上記手法に限定されるものではない。ついで、このB層積層体をインナーライナーの代わりに用い、加硫温度190℃の条件下で、タイヤ(サイズ 195/65R14(リム 14×6JJ)を作製した。

比較例1はEVOHフィルムとシラン系カップリング剤無配合のゴム組成物とを積層し、加硫して得た低透過性ゴム積層体であるが、この積層体は接着/密着性が悪く、タイヤ走行試験後には、界面剥離によるゴム層の浮きがおこり好ましくない。比較例2〜3は、EVOH溶液にメルカプトシランを配合し、キャストすることにより得たフィルムとゴム組成物とを積層し、加硫して得た低透過性ゴム積層体である。この積層体は接着/密着性が悪く、タイヤ走行後には、界面剥離/ゴムの浮きが起り、好ましくない。比較例4は、EVOHフィルムにメルカプトシランを塗布し、ゴム組成物と積層し、加硫して得た低透過性ゴム積層体である。しかしながらプライマーとしてメルカプトシランを塗布しても、接着/密着性が悪く、タイヤ走行後には、界面剥離によるゴム層の浮きが起り、好ましくない。比較例5はゴム組成物に0.5重量部のメルカプトシランを配合したが、配合量が少なすぎるため十分な接着性が得られず界面剥離によるゴム層の浮きが起こり、好ましくない。
Claims (7)
- 30℃における空気透過係数(JIS K7126に準拠して測定)が0.5×10-12cc・cm/cm2・sec・cmHg以下で、エチレン組成比が20〜50mol%でけん化度が90%以上のエチレンビニルアルコール共重合体を含む、平均厚dが0.05μm<d<5μmの少なくとも1層の低透過性樹脂(A)の層及びゴムと反応性の官能基を有しかつアルコキシシリル基を有するシラン系カップリング剤を、ジエン系ゴム100重量部当り、1〜25重量部含み、シリカを含まない、少なくとも1層のジエン系ゴム組成物(B)の層を含んでなる低透過性ゴム積層体。
- 前記ジエン系ゴム組成物(B)がシランカップリング剤2〜15重量部を含む請求項1に記載の低透過性ゴム積層体。
- 前記ゴム組成物(B)が天然ゴム(NR)、イソプレンゴム(IR)、ブタジエンゴム(BR)及びスチレン−ブタジエンゴム(SBR)の少なくとも1種を含む請求項1又は2に記載の低透過性ゴム積層体。
- 前記ゴム組成物(B)が加硫剤及び加硫促進剤を更に含む請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の低透過性ゴム積層体。
- 前記シラン系カップリング剤が分子中に硫黄を含む請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の低透過性ゴム積層体。
- 前記シラン系カップリング剤が分子中にメルカプト基を含む請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の低透過性ゴム積層体。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の低透過性ゴム積層体をインナーライナーに用いた空気入りタイヤ。
