Description
図1において、トーチ本体1の先端には該本体1の中心部に電極2が設けてあり、該電極2の外周には銅等をロート状に成形した導電性を有するノズル部材3が電極2に対して電気的絶縁を保持して設けてある。またノズル部材3の外周には該ノズル部材3の外径に対応させて銅等をロート状に成形した導電性を有するノズル保護カバー4がノズル部材3に対して電気的絶縁を保持して設けてある。
次に寿命検出装置について説明する。ノズル部材3とノズル保護カバー4との間には電圧検出手段である電圧計7が接続されている。また電圧計7の接点側の端子には認識手段9が接続されている。
Claims (1)
- 電極の外側に導電性を有するノズル部材を前記電極に対して電気的絶縁性を保持して設け、且つ前記ノズル部材の外側に導電性を有するノズル保護カバーを前記ノズル部材に対して電気的絶縁を保持して設けたプラズマトーチの寿命を検出する寿命検出装置であって、
ノズル部材とノズル保護カバーとの間に前記ノズル部材とノズル保護カバーとの間の電圧を検出する電圧検出手段を設け、
プラズマアークが発生している時に前記電圧検出手段で検出した電圧が、電極が寿命に達したことを認識するために設定された所定の値を外れたとき電極の寿命を認識し、且つノズル部材が寿命に達したことを認識するために設定された所定の値を外れたときノズル部材の寿命を認識する認識手段を有することを特徴としたプラズマトーチの寿命検出装置。
