Abstract
【解決手段】 本発明に係るプラズマトーチの寿命検出装置の代表的な構成は、電極の外側に導電性を有するノズル部材3を電極に対して電気的絶縁を保持して設け、且つノズル部材3の外側に導電性を有するノズル保護カバー4をノズル部材3に対して電気的絶縁を保持して設けたプラズマトーチの寿命を検出する寿命検出装置であって、ノズル部材3とノズル保護カバー4との間にノズル部材3とノズル保護カバー4との間の電圧を検出する電圧計7を設け、電圧計7が検出した電圧によりプラズマトーチ(電極2、ノズル部材3、ノズル保護カバー4)の寿命を検出することを特徴とした。

Description
図1において、トーチ本体1の先端には該本体1の中心部に電極2が設けてあり、該電極2の外周には銅等をロート状に成形した導電性を有するノズル部材3が電極2に対して電気的絶縁を保持して設けてある。またノズル部材3の外周には該ノズル部材3の外径に対応させて銅等をロート状に成形した導電性を有するノズル保護カバー4がノズル部材3に対して電気的絶縁を保持して設けてある。
次に寿命検出装置について説明する。ノズル部材3とノズル保護カバー4との間には電圧検出手段である電圧計7が接続されている。また電圧計7の接点側の端子には認識手段9が接続されている。
Claims (7)
- 電極の外側に導電性を有するノズル部材を前記電極に対して電気的絶縁を保持して設け、且つ前記ノズル部材の外側に導電性を有するノズル保護カバーを前記ノズル部材に対して電気的絶縁を保持して設けたプラズマトーチの寿命を検出する寿命検出装置であって、
ノズル部材とノズル保護カバーとの間に前記ノズル部材とノズル保護カバーとの間の電圧を検出する電圧検出手段を設け、
該電圧検出手段が検出した電圧によりプラズマトーチの寿命を検出することを特徴としたプラズマトーチの寿命検出装置。 - プラズマアークが発生している時に前記電圧検出手段で検出した電圧により、前記ノズル部材及び前記ノズル保護カバーの消耗具合を認識する認識手段を有することを特徴とした請求項1に記載のプラズマトーチの寿命検出装置。
- プラズマアークが発生している時に前記電圧検出手段で検出した電圧が、所定の値を超えたことにより、前記ノズル部材及び前記ノズル保護カバーの寿命を認識する認識手段を有することを特徴とした請求項1に記載のプラズマトーチの寿命検出装置。
- 前記ノズル部材と被加工材との間に電圧を印加する電源を有し、
プラズマアークが発生していない時に、前記電源により電圧を印加して前記電圧検出手段で検出した電圧により、前記ノズル保護カバーと被加工材との接触を認識する認識手段を有することを特徴とした請求項1に記載のプラズマトーチの寿命検出装置。 - プラズマアークが発生している時に前記電圧検出手段で検出した電圧により、前記電極の消耗具合を認識する認識手段を有することを特徴とした請求項1に記載のプラズマトーチの寿命検出装置。
- プラズマアークが発生している時に前記電圧検出手段で検出した電圧が、所定の範囲を外れたことにより、前記電極と前記ノズル部材及び前記ノズル保護カバーの寿命を認識する認識手段を有することを特徴とした請求項1に記載のプラズマトーチの寿命検出装置。
- プラズマアークが発生している時に前記電圧検出手段で検出した電圧により、前記ノズル保護カバーと被加工材との接触を認識する認識手段を有することを特徴としたプラズマトーチの寿命検出装置。
