Claims (5)
- 順次走査電極構造を有するディスプレイパネルを駆動するために、
映像出力モードを決定する段階と、
コンピュータに連結されて使われるモニターとして動作するモニターモードである場合には、順次走査方式で駆動する段階と、
動映像モードである場合には、インターレース走査方式で駆動する段階と、
を備え、
前記インターレース走査方式は、
二つ以上の走査電極を一対にして、同一の走査パルス及びアドレス信号を印加する段階と、
前記走査パルス及びアドレス信号の印加後に、前記走査電極の各対に対して、一つの電極に主維持放電パルスを印加し、他の電極には前記主維持放電パルスとは異なるパルス数の補助維持放電パルスを印加する段階と、を備えることを特徴とするパネル駆動方法。 - 前記補助維持放電パルスは、前記主維持放電パルスよりパルス数が少ないことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパネル駆動方法。
- 順次走査電極構造を有するディスプレイパネルを駆動するために、
映像出力モードを決定する手段と、
コンピュータに連結されて使われるモニターとして動作するモニターモードである場合には、順次走査方式で駆動する手段と、
動映像モードである場合には、インターレース走査方式で駆動する手段と、
を備え、
前記インターレース走査方式で駆動する手段は、
二つ以上の走査電極を一対にして、同一の走査パルス及びアドレス信号を印加する手段と、
前記走査パルス及びアドレス信号の印加後に、前記走査電極の各対に対して、一つの電極に主維持放電パルスを印加し、他の電極には前記主維持放電パルスとは異なるパルス数の補助維持放電パルスを印加する手段と、を備えることを特徴とするディスプレイパネル。 - 前記補助維持放電パルスは、前記主維持放電パルスよりパルス数が少ないことを特徴とする請求項3に記載のディスプレイパネル。
- 請求項1または2に記載の方法をコンピュータで実行させるためのプログラムを記録したコンピュータ可読記録媒体。
