Claims (1)
- 一方の基板上に走査電極と維持電極が平行に形成され、他方の基板上に走査電極と維持電極に直交するようにアドレス電極が形成され、両基板の電極同士が対向するように形成されたプラズマディスプレイパネルにおいて、
1フレームを複数のサブフィールドに分割し、各サブフィールドは、初期化区間、アドレス区間、維持区間を含み、
少なくとも一つのサブフィールドの維持区間にランプ型維持パルスを走査電極または維持電極に印加して維持放電を行う段階を含み、
維持パルス数の決定過程において、維持パルス数の小数点以下を四捨五入する維持パルスの量子化過程を含み、
前記維持パルスの量子化による整数部分が0であるサブフィールドの維持区間に、前記ランプ型維持パルスを印加して維持放電を行うことを特徴とするプラズマディスプレイパネルの駆動方法。
