Claims (3)
- 過給を併用する均質リーン運転と、成層運転とを運転条件によって切り替え可能な内燃機関であって、
排気によって駆動されるタービンと、このタービンに連結されて空気を加圧するコンプレッサとを含んで構成される過給手段と、
前記タービンをバイパスさせてから、前記タービンの下流へ前記内燃機関の排気を流す排気バイパス手段と、
前記コンプレッサをバイパスさせてから、前記内燃機関へ空気を供給する吸気バイパス手段と、
前記タービンの上流から前記内燃機関の排気を抽気して、前記内燃機関の排気を前記内燃機関の吸気側かつ前記コンプレッサの下流側へ還流させる還流手段と、を備え、
過給を併用する均質リーン運転から成層運転へ移行する際には、前記吸気バイパス手段により前記コンプレッサをバイパスさせてから前記内燃機関へ空気を供給するとともに、前記排気バイパス手段を閉じたままとして、前記タービンへ前記内燃機関の排気を導入した状態で、前記排気還流手段により前記内燃機関の排気を還流させ、さらに、成層運転へ移行した後、所定時間が経過してから、前記排気バイパス手段を開くことを特徴とする内燃機関。 - 前記内燃機関の吸気ポート内へ燃料を噴射するポート噴射弁と、前記内燃機関の気筒内へ燃料を噴射する筒内噴射弁とを備え、過給を併用する均質リーン運転においては、前記ポート噴射弁から燃料を噴射し、成層運転においては前記筒内噴射弁から燃料を噴射することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の内燃機関。
- 過給を併用する均質リーン運転と、成層運転とを運転条件によって切り替え可能であるとともに、排気によって駆動されるタービン及び前記タービンに連結されて空気を加圧するコンプレッサを含んで構成される過給手段と、前記タービンの上流から前記内燃機関の排気を抽気して吸気側かつ前記コンプレッサの下流側へ還流させる排気還流手段と、前記タービンをバイパスさせてから、前記タービンの下流へ前記内燃機関の排気を流す排気バイパス手段とを備える内燃機関の運転制御に用いるものであって、
前記内燃機関が均質燃焼運転から成層運転へ移行する場合には、少なくとも前記コンプレッサをバイパスさせてから前記内燃機関へ空気を供給させるとともに、前記排気バイパス手段を閉じたままとして、前記タービンへ前記内燃機関の排気を導入した状態で、前記排気還流手段により前記内燃機関の排気を還流させ、さらに、成層運転へ移行した後、所定時間が経過してから、前記排気バイパス手段を開く排気還流圧力制御部と、
前記排気還流手段により前記内燃機関の排気を還流させる排気還流動作部と、
を含んで構成されることを特徴とする内燃機関の運転制御装置。
