Claims (4)
- 光ファイバが挿入固定される挿入孔を形成してなる光ファイバ固定用毛細管の製造方法であって、
外面に、第1の平面部と、前記第1の平面部と平行な第2の平面部と、前記第1の平面部及び第2の平面部と直交し且つそれらの幅方向両側に存する第3の平面部及び第4の平面部とを有し、前記第1の平面部、第2の平面部、第3の平面部及び第4の平面部の隣接する相互間がそれぞれ部分円筒面で形成され、その全ての部分円筒面が、単一の中心軸から同一の半径で形成されると共に、前記挿入孔が、前記第1の平面部と直交する方向において前記中心軸から偏倚した位置に形成されたガラス材料を、線引き成形して光ファイバ固定用毛細管を作製することを特徴とする光ファイバ固定用毛細管の製造方法。 - 前記挿入孔は、前記第1の平面部と直交する方向において該平面部とその反対側の端部との中央から偏倚した位置に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光ファイバ固定用毛細管の製造方法。
- 前記部分円筒面の総領域が、前記外面の全領域の3%以上であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の光ファイバ固定用毛細管の製造方法。
- 実用温度域での熱膨張係数が0〜80×10-7/Kの材料からなることを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れかに記載の光ファイバ固定用毛細管の製造方法。
