Description
即ち、逃がし溝のうち、接着時に最上層となる薄板状部品とその積層方向下方に隣接する下隣の薄板状部品との積層面に形成された逃がし溝に出口部を設け、その出口部を有する逃がし溝の中途部に第1溜まり部及び第2溜まり部が配置され、前記第2溜まり部が前記第1溜まり部よりも出口側に配置されているため、余剰の接着剤は、まず第1溜まり部に捕捉されて貯留された後、第1溜まり部が余剰の接着剤で一杯になると、次いで、最上層の薄板状部品に貫通された第2溜まり部に溜まることになる。
その結果、薄板状部品の外周側端面からはみ出した接着剤が垂れ落ちることによる接着装置の汚染を防止することができ、インクジェットヘッドを構成するプレートの積層にて、その外周側端面での接着剤の垂れ落ちや接着装置の汚染を防止でき、インクジェットヘッドの生産効率が向上する。

Claims (2)
- 多数個の圧力室と、前記多数個の圧力室に連通する貫通孔と、前記貫通孔を介して前記多数個の圧力室に連通したインク通路とを有するプレートを含む複数枚の薄板状部品を、接着剤を介して積層接着し、前記多数個の圧力室、貫通孔及びインク通路を有する液体流路を内部に有するインクジェットプリンタヘッドにおいて、
前記積層された薄板状部品には、前記液体流路の周囲で前記積層面に沿って接着剤を誘導するための逃がし溝と、前記板厚方向に貫通する貫通孔とが、前記複数枚の薄板状部品の積層方向に相互に連通して形成され、
前記逃がし溝のうち、接着時に最上層となる薄板状部品とその積層方向下方に隣接する下隣の薄板状部品との積層面に形成された前記逃がし溝は、その一端部が前記積層面と交差する外周側端面に開放された出口部を有するように形成されており、
複数枚の薄板状部品のうち、前記下隣の薄板状部品には、前記逃がし溝を通って前記出口部に向かう接着剤を貯留可能に凹設され、または板厚さ方向に貫通された第1溜まり部が設けられ、
前記最上層の薄板状部品には、第2溜まり部が前記第1溜まり部よりも前記逃がし溝の出口部側に貫通形成され、
前記第1溜まり部と第2溜まり部とは、前記積層方向からの平面視で少なくとも一部が重複することで連通し、
前記第1溜まり部と第2溜まり部とは、前記出口部を有する逃がし溝の延びる方向の中途部に連通し、
前記出口部を備えた逃がし溝の延びる方向と直交する方向の第1溜まり部の寸法が、同じく前記直交する方向の第2溜まり部の寸法より大きく形成されていることを特徴とするインクジェットプリンタヘッド。 - 前記逃がし溝は、前記薄板状部品の上面または下面のいずれか一方に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のインクジェットプリンタヘッド。
