Description
Claims (15)
- 無線通信システムにおいて移動局からサーバにセルラーネットワーク接続を介して送信されるリモートデバイス用の制御信号と、前記サーバから前記移動局に前記セルラーネットワーク接続を介して送信されるメディアコンテンツ信号とを分離する方法であって、
前記無線通信システムがアクセスポイントに対する前記移動局の位置を判断する工程と、
前記移動局が前記アクセスポイントの近傍内に在るときに前記無線通信システムが前記移動局のステータスを判断する工程と、
前記無線通信システムが前記移動局のステータスに基づいて非セルラーネットワーク接続を介して前記リモートデバイスにアクセスできるように前記移動局を認証する工程と、
前記無線通信システムが前記サーバにメディアコンテンツを前記リモートデバイスに前記非セルラーネットワーク接続を通して再ルーティングさせる工程とを備える方法。 - 前記無線通信システムが前記サーバに前記制御信号を前記移動局から前記リモートデバイスに前記非セルラーネットワーク接続を通して再ルーティングする工程を更に備える、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記無線通信システムが前記セルラーネットワーク接続を維持して制御信号を前記移動局から前記リモートデバイスに前記セルラーネットワーク接続を通してルーティングする工程を更に備える、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記無線通信システムが前記アクセスポイントに対する前記移動局の位置を判断する工程は、前記無線通信システムが少なくとも一つの信号強度しきい値を利用して、前記アクセスポイントに対する前記移動局の少なくとも一つの対応する近傍のものを定義する工程を含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 移動局からサーバにセルラーネットワーク接続を介して送信されるリモートデバイス用の制御信号と、前記サーバから前記移動局に前記セルラーネットワーク接続を介して送信されるメディアコンテンツ信号とを分離する方法であって、
前記移動局の信号強度をアクセスポイントにより測定することにより、該無線通信システムが非セルラーネットワーク接続のアクセスポイントに対する前記移動局の位置を判断する工程と、
前記移動局が前記セルラーネットワーク接続を通してデータセッションに参加し、かつ前記アクセスポイントの近傍内に在るときに、前記無線通信システムが前記移動局のステータスの通知をリクエストする工程と、
前記無線通信システムが前記移動局の前記ステータスを受信し、該移動局のステータスに基づいて前記移動局が非セルラーネットワーク接続を介した前記リモートデバイスへのアクセス及び前記非セルラーネットワーク接続に接続されるサービスへのアクセスの許可が得られるように認証する工程と、
前記無線通信システムが前記移動局の接続を前記セルラーネットワーク接続から前記非セルラーネットワーク接続に切り替えることを判断する工程と、
前記無線通信システムが前記移動局からの通信リンクを前記リモートデバイスに割り当てる工程と、
前記無線通信システムが前記移動局で生成されるユーザ入力を信号に変換して、この信号により前記リモートデバイスが示すアクションを制御する工程とを備える方法。 - 少なくとも一つの移動局とサーバとの間のネットワーク接続を切り替える無線通信システムであって、
サーバを含み、コンテンツデータを送信し、制御データを受信するゲートウェイと、
前記制御データを生成し、前記コンテンツデータを受信する移動局と、
前記ゲートウェイに接続され、前記移動局と第1無線リンクを通して通信する機能を有する第1ネットワークであって、前記コンテンツデータを前記ゲートウェイから前記移動局に、前記制御データを前記移動局から前記前記ゲートウェイに転送することが可能な前記第1ネットワークと、
前記ゲートウェイに接続され、前記移動局と第2無線リンクを通して通信する機能を有する第2ネットワークとを備え、前記第2ネットワークはアクセスポイント及びリモート出力デバイスを含み、前記アクセスポイントは前記移動局と前記第2無線リンクを通して通信し、かつ前記制御データを前記移動局から前記ゲートウェイに転送する機能を有し、前記リモート出力デバイスは前記コンテンツデータを前記ゲートウェイから受信し、かつ前記コンテンツデータの少なくとも一部を表示する機能を有し、前記ネットワーク接続は、前記アクセスポイントに対する前記移動局の位置に基づいて前記第1ネットワークと前記第2ネットワークとの間で切り替えられる、無線通信システム。 - 前記コンテンツデータの送信先が、前記アクセスポイントに対する前記移動局の位置に基づいて、前記第1ネットワークを介する前記移動局と前記第2ネットワークの前記リモート出力デバイスとの間で切り替わる、請求項6記載の無線通信システム。
- 前記コンテンツデータの送信先は、前記移動局が前記アクセスポイントの信号範囲の内に在るときに、前記移動局から前記リモート出力デバイスに切り替わり、
前記コンテンツデータの送信先は、前記移動局が前記アクセスポイントの信号範囲の外に在るときに、前記リモート出力デバイスから前記移動局に切り替わる、請求項7記載の無線通信システム。 - 前記制御データは、前記アクセスポイントに対する前記移動局の位置に基づいて、前記第1ネットワークを通して供給される形態と前記第2ネットワークを通して供給される形態との間で切り替わる、請求項6記載の無線通信システム。
- 前記制御データは、前記移動局が前記アクセスポイントの信号範囲の内に在るときに前記第1ネットワークを通して供給される形態から前記第2ネットワークを通して供給される形態に切り替わり、
前記制御データは、前記移動局が前記アクセスポイントの信号範囲の外に在るときに前記第2ネットワークを通して供給される形態から前記第1ネットワークを通して供給される形態に切り替わる、請求項9記載の無線通信システム。 - 前記コンテンツデータは、マークアップ言語コードを含み、前記制御データは、ユーザ入力を含む、請求項6記載の無線通信システム。
- 少なくとも一つの移動局とサーバとの間のネットワーク接続を切り替える無線通信システムであって、
前記サーバを含み、コンテンツデータを送信し、制御データを受信するゲートウェイと、
前記制御データを生成し、前記コンテンツデータを受信する移動局と、
前記ゲートウェイに接続され、前記移動局と第1ネットワークの無線リンクを通して通信する機能を有する第1ネットワークであって、前記コンテンツデータを前記ゲートウェイから前記移動局に、前記制御データを前記移動局から前記ゲートウェイに転送することが可能な前記第1ネットワークと、
前記ゲートウェイに接続される第2ネットワークとを備え、前記第2ネットワークは前記ゲートウェイから前記コンテンツデータを受信し、前記コンテンツデータの少なくとも一部を表示する機能を有するリモート出力デバイスを含み、前記第1ネットワークを通して前記制御データの全てが前記ゲートウェイに供給されるのに対して、前記コンテンツデータは、前記第1ネットワークを通して前記移動局に供給される形態と前記第2ネットワークの前記リモート出力デバイスに供給される形態との間で切り替わる、無線通信システム。 - 前記第2ネットワークは、前記移動局と前記第2ネットワークの無線リンクを通して通信する機能を有するアクセスポイントを含み、
前記コンテンツデータの送信先が前記アクセスポイントに対する前記移動局の位置に基づいて切り替わる、請求項12記載の無線通信システム。 - 前記コンテンツデータの送信先は、前記移動局が前記アクセスポイントの信号範囲の内に在るときに、前記移動局から前記リモート出力デバイスに切り替わり、
前記コンテンツデータの送信先は、前記移動局が前記アクセスポイントの信号範囲の外に在るときに、前記リモート出力デバイスから前記移動局に切り替わる、請求項13記載の無線通信システム。 - 前記コンテンツデータは、マークアップ言語コードを含み、前記制御データは、ユーザ入力を含む、請求項12記載の無線通信システム。
